Val's place is incredible, every room of the house is "maximalist" with beautiful pictures, decorations and ornaments. My beautiful friend Jess has come to stay with me for the month, all the way from London! I hadn’t seen her in years and it’s been such a wonderful time catching up, eating all the vegan foods, philosophising and tomorrow we are even going on a ghost tour! This past weekend we went down to the seaside and captured some dramatic moments with the threatening sky.

Staying in a little retro room outside of Melbourne in an old pub style hotel, whose greatest feature is this random Jacuzzi! It seems quite out of place if you saw the whole room's layout and the rest of the styling. It made for some fun photos though! I especially like the close up shots from behind with the water pouring from the vase.

This robe was a second hand vintage find, I especially like how the sleeves mimic feathers with its design, without of course the use of animals!

These were captured on Thursday for a Camera Obscura series I’m working on with photographer Albert Comper. That is Melbourne city projected onto me through a tiny lens hole in an otherwise totally blackened room. The word “camera” comes from Latin meaning “room” and “Obscura” meaning “dark”.
