WIP: Jinx top

Next finished piece of Jinx: the top!

I made the top out of the same silver fake leather I had left over from the arm pieces and also some black fake leather.

After I had my pattern, I drew it onto the leather, cut everything out twice for the outside and the inside and sewed it together. I added the loop pieces at the back and assembled everything usind velcro to make it easy to get in and out of it. 

The hardest part definitely was the neck seam with the leather strap...

Ambush on Felucia

I am always amazed when I look at these raw photos, that those are not edited in any way. It's just me, my cosplay and some lights :)

If you crop these photos from left and right sides you can use them as wallpapers for your phone too if you want.

Did you ever notice that the wall behind me is a bit dirty?

It's because of Phil, he leaned on it while wearing his Rey armor and he lost a bit of his paint :D I always loose a bit of the orange paint when I touch things..

Huge Yoga Set no. 2

Another day another yoga session for Ahsoka! This time all those poses that fit better for a horizontal picture.

It's a full yoga flow with the happy Ahsoka at the end of her practice!

WIP: Jinx arm accessoires

Actually this item is not finished completely since I forgot the round armband thing jinx has on her right wrist which just crossed my mind now... But nontheless another work in progress!

Since I didn't have fake leather in the right color, I used the one I had in silver to sew the gloves and painted them afterwards with acrylic paint. That works really well, if you ever need your fake leather in a different color just paint it!

WIP: Jinx Wig

The wig was the first thing I made for Jinx. I thought it would be the hardest part that's why I started with it. 

I used two wigs, one dark turquoise I already had at home, the other one much lighter and also three balls of wool to thicken the braids.

First, I combined the two wigs and made the parting in the back prettier. I glued a fake hairline at the forehead and then made six long woolen braids and added them to the wig. I put the hair around the woolen braids to hide t...

Ahsoka's untold stories

We can just imagine what our favorite Togruta faced in her time in between the jedi order and the events of season 7. These are not completely accurate because of the lightsabers, but I love them anyways :D

The story behing the photo

There's a story behind every picture, at least behind most of them. These two were seconds apart, most of the time Phil doesn't say anything and I do most of the posing, but here he said: Look epic and enraged and bend your knees a bit more so I bent my knees and he just burst out laughing and so did I :D 

Second slide is the final photo after we managed to pull ourselves together.

WIP: Jinx Boots

First one of what I hope will become a long series: Work In Progress pictures and final result of my Jinx boots. 

The boots are made to be fully taken down without harming the original boots beneath the covers, because I love the boots and didn't want to permanently glue something on top.

Today marks the end of my hardest semester yet! And the next two weeks will be exam phase, but normally I like that. Planning my time how I like it, is a good thing for me :)
