Vi/Caitlyn Picture Ideas!

I want to draw something with both Violet and Caitlyn from League of Legends - I'm sure most of you are familiar with them! If anybody has any ideas for a couple picture, let me know.

Depending on the response, I might sketch some out and put up a poll, but either way I'd be grateful for any inspiration! Could be a joint workout, one showing off to the other, or something purely about romance. No wrong answers :)

3D Progress - "Alice"

My latest model is coming pretty well! Wish I'd saved a few more increments to show more of the process but you can see where it's going. I've also been modelling extra faces on the side to try and drag them out of the uncanny valley.

I'm hoping to get some simple textures on this one and make a nice pose for her.

So, Alice is just the name for her file, she doesn't have much of a backstory or personality. Any suggestions that might help me come up with some pictures for her?

3D Modelling Practice

This is some of my earlier 3D practice - more or less the step after modelling a few sets of blocky abs for fun. This is as far as I took this character. I think the back and abs look really great. The face gave me more trouble but this whole process is a work in progress.

Dragon flags are an exercise that I've really struggled with in the past, in fact I think I've shared here one or two near-finished pieces that I'd scrapped just because I couldn't get the pose right. It's been good to actually be pushed to get this done, and I'm really happy with the finished picture!

April Sketch Requests - Round 2 Delivery

Bit worried that I didn't do Natalie Portman's Thor justice, but converting real people to my style has never been my speciality - might be something I practice more in future. Especially if she looks as good going forward as she did in that Thor: Love and Thunder trailer!

So, Winry Rockbell from Full Metal Alchemist - pretty much a sketch request that came out well and I decided to finish off. This one was pretty simple, kind of just a pin-up rather than a proper pose but hope you guys like it nontheless!

Character Poll - April

So, Overwatch handily won the last poll - fitting with the Beta to Overwatch 2 coming out this week! So here are a few characters to pick one.

I'm going to exclude a couple that I've drawn quite often, and I'm also going to exclude Sojourn, as that's a character I have plans to draw and post some time soon regardless of the poll.

And just to confirm, you can pick more than one!

3D Modelling Practice (May Preview)

A couple of months ago I started learning Blender - a free 3D software, and quite recently I got a more powerful laptop that will open up a lot of possibilities for me, thanks in no small part to your guys support!

I'm planning on spending more time next month practicing more sculpting, and I'll be sharing that practice exclusively on here. I think I have a long way to go before I can do full pictures that I'm satisfied with, but I hope you all like the sight of some of these in the mea...

I'm really pleased with this set, I think some of these came out as well as I could have hoped for and I hope you guys like them. Vi - To Failure

Violet throwing herself into a punishing workout. Pretty much the only way she trains - a habit of the days and weeks of isolation in prison. Now, with her more comfortable and secure position, she is more driven than ever, and more desperate to be ready for all the fights to come.

This months piece of writing will be a short story about Violet's training!

Very belated result of the January Art Poll - I felt a lot of pressure to make a really good Vi picture since watching and LOVING Arcane, and I suppose that meant I put it off for a while. I plan on fulfilling future polls with much less delay. In fact Bea, from the February poll will be out later this month!

I also have an extra treat to come with the finished Vi picture, so look forward to that!

March Sketch Requests - Round 2 Delivery

I had intended to do more of people's second requests this time, but I'm afraid that toward the end of my deadline a few things have come up that I've needed to focus on. All old extra sketch requests that I haven't fulfilled will still be on the list for slow weeks, though.

I'm also taking increasing inspiration from some of these to work into fully finished pictures, so I hope that excites some of you!

Katara's Waterbending

The regular training and practice that goes into Katara's mastery of martial arts has given her a body she can be proud of. The waterbending expert is too humble to flaunt herself in all the ways she might secretly desire in some part of her mind, but she doesn't need to. Every form she takes has the combined poise and grace of a dancer and a lethal fighter. Each day she know she grows better, stronger and more powerful and the shape of her body changes.
