Hi all,
I’m going to be taking time to focus on recovering from the surgery. They did end up performing a Fistulotomy on a Anorectal Fistula I had. I’m kind of just sleeping it off at this point, but full recovery takes about 6-8 weeks.
I’m obviously not going to stay inactive for that long, but I will be taking it easy and trying to see what I can tolerate doing.
I’ll keep you all updated.

Surgery is tomorrow. They made it Urgent instead of elective... because it is now urgent.

Long story short, I have a lingering cough, and the anesthesiologist was not okay with sedating me for surgery, so it's been rescheduled.
Sorry for the change in dates, but at least you all have me for the rest of November :D?
Hey all,
I can finally breathe again without feeling like I have something clogging me up. I'm still working through the cough, but that should eventually sort itself out.
I'm gonna be working on things I wasn't able to get to due to illness, so...back to work for me, at least until my surgery on Friday.
There is a COVID test I have to take tomorrow, and should that turn out fine, I will doing my surgery, then recovery.
I'll keep you all updated!

2021-11-08 19:34:58 +0000 UTC View PostWhile I am starting to feel less congested than I was the past couple days, it's mostly shifted downwards into my chest. I'm pretty much going through the same exact symptoms as the person who gave me this illness.
The cough is draining, wakes me up from my sleep and ultimately I just feel sapped for energy lately. I've been trying to rest as much as possible to try and sleep it off.
I hope to be back to functional by Monday, or at least the weekend. We'll have to see how this co...

Unfortunately for me, my father has been dealing with some sort of illness for the past week or two, and because he choose not to respect my personal space, nor have an consideration for my well being, I am now sick with whatever he has.
Guess the saying "Misery loves company" applies here.
Anyways I hope to bounce back fairly quickly, otherwise I might have other issues I'll be dealing.

Posting this now so people know what's going on. I will be getting surgery on the 12th of November. Depending on what the doctor decides to do during surgery, I'll either be out of commission for a day, or down for count for 1-2 weeks.
If he does the surgery as planned, I will be100% unavailable for at least a week. When I am in the right state of mind, I will make a post. If I am unable to, I will have a relative post on my behalf.
