I feel like we are really close to actually having some visual for all the old scenes. That means I'll be focusing more on new scenes which are missing some nice art go along with them. Still, I hope you enjoy this mix of old and new scenes, now in HD. :)

July Update: It's Not The Size...

...But how you use the update that matters. Well, I think I managed to add a decent amount of content as well, though. Still, I hope things will never get this messy again, at least for a few years. Well, for all my bitching and moaning, it's not as if we skipped a month or anything, but I really hate it when my plans fly out of the window.

Weekly dev blog: Crawling, crawling, crawling...

So, the test version has been sent out, feedback got back, bugs were squashed. I'd like to write at least 1-2 more scene before the update, but if I can't get it done I'll just release what I have, sometimes things just don't line up, no matter how hard you try. It might also be the heat which is keeping me from focusing, it's been a few weeks I am sweating bullets, after all.

Last week I implemented the mini-quest to stop Marjorie from harassing you, and put an end to her traps lying around the academy. It's relatively straightforward, since I didn't want a full-blown quest with all the hoops for players to go through. I have settled for keeping Marjorie and her groupies around, although they'll have to "bow their heads to you" from now on.

Weekly dev blog: Writing and Planning

First of all, I am doing better than before, but the nose (or rather the nostril) is still a bit too sensitive. Still, no bleeding in quite some time now, so I shouldn't have anything to worry about.

In development news, I worked a good deal on TOTDC 2. I think if everything goes well, I should have something for my testers next month. It wouldn't be a full demo, but it would showcase all the mechanics and writing I want to get feedback early on.

June Update: Somehow, It's Here!

Here we go! I managed to get a decent release together, after all. It's disappointing to think it could have been even better, but I should probably just be glad things are better for my health, instead. XD

The inside of my nose still feels slightly too sensitive, but then again the doctor gave me some cream to put in it for two more weeks still, so I guess that's normal.

Anyway, enough crying about my nose, here is the new update!

Weekly dev blog: Content

So, I have been getting better. I still have a bothersome sensation in the nose, especially if I lean toward any direction with my head, but at least no bleeding nor significant pain so far. I might have to go see the doctor if the sensation continues, but at least I don't think I should be worried.

I managed to get some work done, and we have 2 more scenes for the orc village, and one scene for Eloise. I did some other miscellaneous tasks, but not much else, as I am still trying to tak...

I Am Sick! Again!

So, this friday I got two nosebleeds, today I went to the hospital to remove the plug/tampon/(whatever the english term is) I got at the ER, and I lost blood again (got a new, shiny, slightly less madness-inducing one), and when I got home I started having a fever.

These last few months have been horrible, did any of you guys curse me? Anyway, while in theory I should be able to get back on my feet in a few days (assuming this time the blood vessels don't betray me again), I don't know ...
