FLEX #22 (FULL VERSION)

Boy, another busy-busy month–but still, here we grow! Wrapping up a few other comics through Spring delayed this next FLEX chapter, but it did give me some time to work some things out, and let some new ideas club me upside the head when I wasn't paying attention =3

Things come to a head when Folds snaps; will a worn-out James manage his mounting wrath, even with a super-sized Johan on the battlefield!? Can our redneck reptile even survive the power surge Lang's putting him through!? ...

CYOA #2: FIG TROUBLE, PART L

Ahhhhhh XD The spellcheck stopped working in parts, so I had to keep stopping, to try and fix it...but here it is! Hopefully I caught the goofs, when it wasn't working right =3

But yes! Another long pause between posts, but it's just been psychotic, lately, even after what I mentioned in the FLEX post. I'm waiting on a potential job offer, a very good one, that I have good experience at, and I had to fight my way into making it to a Bariatric appointment, at long, long last, after only,...

FLEX #22, FIRST HALF (UPDATED!)

Alright, I better call it here, heh XD Even with a full day, 3 pages is a lot–then, I realized someone gashed my car's back tire (they even left the instrument on my car, very...odd), which lead me to cancel and reschedule a doctor's appointment, and PS froze up a few minutes ago, so I'm taking it as a sign to call it a night. Almost had the whole half XP

It's still 24 pages, but the last three are about 70% through, so consider it a brief partial look at the process ;3 I'll wrap them...

CYOA #2: FIG TROUBLE, PART K

Pardon the gaps, this is still happening! X3 But boy, what a wacko month it's been. Between the neck injury, losing half the month's time to work on comics, and trip after trip out of town (was stranded very briefly in Houston, heh, good times), it's been madness...but things do go on! Wrapping up this chunk of FLEX tomorrow/today, that's coming up shortly, too =3 Thankfully, stuff's still gotten done, despite it all! Actually pretty happy with what's been done, too, so that's good <3

Whew! Got a lot done this week! Including the first part of the poke-world section! I'm going to be out of town the next two weeks, so I wnated to get everything done before then, for this month! Throwing in the finished version of page 49, too, since it's what I used to tease back in October of last year ^^ This pushes the page count up to 51, so not a bad start! It's kind of neat, trying something a little more paced out and deliberately growy!

I never really do much with the characters I've racked (heh) up, over the years, so here's one I put together over time: Coppi is the squad commander for security at Boob Camp's Blackvault prison. It's a stressful job, so the yoga sessions really help–considering she has trouble staying small *and* calm, it's a wonder anyone lets her into classes...

BATASTROPHE! #1 (FIRST HALF)

Whoo!

Down to the wire, but I wanted to squeeze in a few more pages! There was way too much to fit into this month alone, and THEN I lost roughly 9 days to traveling and wrist problems (better now!), but thankfully a decent portion still got done ^^

Part of things was also just figuring out how to pull off the sliiiight changes in touches/coloring that had to be learned, too...but I think I have the process down now!

Okay, this one's a...well, it's a BIGGUN. Like, BIG-BIG. But, when you consider that it combines two chapters, 5 and 6, it actually moves a decent bit faster. This time, we get the terrors of forest strolls and a sustained luncheon, followed by explosive biggery, as we hit the halfway point! It only took 121 pages! Who's the jerk that makes these so long!? (SPOILER ALERT: They actually are all edited DOWN)

What's this!? Yup, it's another sneak peek of this month's comic-in-progress! Been wanting to jump on this one since before its mention, back in October ^^ Trying a few different things out in the creation process, seeing how it all goes!

I don't think this one should be terribly long, but it IS going to be much more...specifically paced, than others. Likely, it'll be maybe 3 parts, total, at least as far as the current planning goes =3

CYOA #2: FIG TROUBLE PARTY ROSTER CHANGE-UP

Okay, awesome! We have the final worlds/dragons decided on ^^ Thanks for the input, everyone, as this behemoth comes together steadily! There'll probably only be two of these, so for the first roster change-up, go ahead and pick which situation you would like most to see! I'll use the feedback to end this week's part, over the weekend.

Since new dragons are coming along after this week's installment, I can't keep everyone on board, since that would be too many polling options, so here's...

CYOA #2: FIG TROUBLE DRAGON POLL, 2nd WAVE

As mentioned before, we're doing one more round of picks for dragons/home worlds for Figment and Co. to wind up in, before everything concludes!

There was the severe temptation to go totally ape with a humongous list, but some of those worlds/IPs would likely prove tough to integrate, so I whittled it down to something more manageable–can't have Figment pulling a full Quantum Leap, where it just goes on and on, to the point of sameness; that's already a challenge, as it is <XD ...

CYOA #2: FIG TROUBLE, PART D (+ POLL)

That's another world, down! The next part's going to change the pace up a little bit, so that we get a few snappier, quicker parts, between bigger ones; plus, the characters have talked their way through figuring out most of the rules, so things should streamline a little more. I don't regret these parts being bigger and more sprawling/dense, but it's good to get in some breathing room, too!
