This bird is called a Kookaburra and is a common bird in Australia! It makes the sound of a laughing monkey πͺΆ
When I found a spot to stay for the night I saw him flying around and checked if I had any leftovers. What I did not expect is the bird to be flying over and eat from my hand which was a wholesome experience I will never forget!

When spring comes and the weather turns out better I start to clean the house and also for the garden that everything starts to look nice and cozy! I buy flowers and plants which I very much enjoy to do! The weather does chance and the sun comes out more often, but itβs still pretty cold over here. How is the weather at your place and do you have the same mindset as I have when spring comes?

Finally some snow has arrived in the Netherlands! πβοΈ I have been looking outside the window and enjoy to see the snowflakes fall down. When traveling through Australia I found this lovely spot to camp for the night. I collected some food for a campfire and would sit here for hours. The next morning I made a cup of coffee and looked to the mountain you see on the first picture and decided to check it out for a hike.
