Art Pack 29 Summary

Time for the Art Pack 29 summary!  I'll be honest, I was a little nervous about this art pack.  I tried to do a little bit of experimenting with inktober/catober stuff, and did fall behind.    But in addition to some of those experiments I am pleased that I managed to finish Freja and Korra in a kind of soft painterly style.

Next TOOT Poll

Hej everyone!  For our next milestone I'm gonna try and set aside some time to make another tutorial.  

This time I am going to try and do better at making it a smaller, more straightforward tutorial.  I felt like the expressions tutorial was really tricky to break down into a step by step process, and so it turned into this kind of nebulous masterclass type thing.  

Which is cool, but this time I would like to make something more bite sized and easier for ever...

Korra Redraw

Finally got this redraw Korra done.  I found this both fun and very challenging.  There's a lot about the redrawn version that still bothers me, but it is time to move on.

Hey hey!

This weekend I have been working on a redraw of Korra for the NSFW piece this month but this evening I decided to take a short break from painting her to sketch a little drawing of Mist.

So far I have drawn her kind of serious, sad, innocent, etc. but I thought it would be good to explore something a little more on the opposite end of the spectrum. So here is a giggly/alluring/drunk??? Mist. Haha

Witchy doodle of Sabrina I did earlier this month.

The weather is definitely getting darker here. I feel like the sun is already barely up and it has been very cloudy so the days are dark even when the sun is in the sky. But the autumn leaves are beautiful and it is really really feeling like spooky season now!

Be Happy

Something a little different that I decided to do kind of last minute.  My friend Rhododo was hosting a draw this in your style and entries close the 30th, so I wanted to do a little something for it.  

I have been having some shoulder/back pain (I'm pretty sure its some sort of pinched nerve), so I didn't want to spend a ton of time on this one and I decided to leave it a little rougher.  I kind of feel like the rougher style fits this piece pretty well though.

I worked on this piece during my demo at Comic Con Stockholm and she's a cutie so wanted to finish her.  I played around a little with some noise overlay in Clip Studio paint and I think it gives kind of an interesting look. 

As you probably saw, she will be in art pack 28!
