I lived in Okinawa Japan when I was a young teen for about five years. It's a very interesting place, and one of the cultural things that I remember strongly is the Okinawan 'Shisa dog'.

Shisa dogs were ornamental lion-dog statues that would often sit on rooftops or fence posts. Traditionally, one would have an open mouth, and another a closed mouth. The open one scared away evil spirits, and the closed kept good spirits in.

'Slime' monster based off of real life slime molds.

Doesn't look like much, but I wanted something that would work as a simple subject to do some brush experiments with.

While I feel like I should start returning to cleaner/crisper more 'digital' looking illustrations, I still love the look of brushes that mimic more traditional medias like water colour and marker.  So I like to experiment a lot on how to get  certain 'looks'. Main focus here was using a thin watercolour brush ...

I didn't get this one finished... Was considering the TMNT characters and how their designs have evolved over the years. Here's my own take.

I'm actually really not happy with the last F:NM page even though it went over well. I may try to remaster it at some point.

I think over the last year and a half I've gotten -much- better at drawing humans. The eyes on this pic are probably a bit more more 'anime' than I would normally want to draw, but that's also because the drawing started out as something else and then turned into this.

Drawing Sonic characters for so long kind of hindered me on a lot of thing...

Madonna was suggested, so I was looking at her design. This is classic Madonna, since I think her design is kinda interesting. It seems like it's more Betty-Boop inspired? Which makes sense since Sonic was inspired by Felix the Cat.

Modern/Archie Madonna is more... generic? I mean she looks good, but... When I think Madonna I think this version more.

This one didn't go up yesterday because I had work and forgot when I got home. So here it is today.

I've been listening to a lot of videos about cryptozoology lately, and the last one I listened to was about the 'ropen'. The video concluded that the ropen was physically illogical and based more on out-dated concepts of pterosaurs and I agree. But I think it'd probably look pretty neat, even if real pterosaurs are even neater.

Starting this month, I'd like to begin doing daily sketches which I will be posting on patreon.  This is because I feel like I have not been able to provide enough content to you and I feel that this is unfair, and because I believe that this can only help me artistically.

As I will be posting these daily, I'll probably run out of ideas for what to draw quickly, so please feel free to suggest things you would like to see.
