I think everyone has been noticing that I've been having a lot of difficulties with the commissions ever since I've started it.  I don't know if its because I set the price of the commissions too low or because no one has been using their BB or because I just suck at commissions!

Learning To Draw.

So I was thinking.  Do any of you want to learn how to draw?  I'm so happy that we have gathered a group of people here with awesome ideas and those who send me commissions and ideas but I can only imagine that a great many of you wish you can do them yourselves rather than waiting for me to fit it in my crazy schedule.

I'm going to work on the sex scene for the next week but I am going to try and do a set of Little Lorna warm up sketches before I start each page and then combine them into a diary entry!

BBGirls do the Olympics!

So random.  It started as a Betty and Veronica drawing but hey... I have MY OWN version of Betty and Veronica in the BlueBerry Girls!  Watching the Olympics (which I'm always gripped with every couple of years) I thought it would be cute to dress the girls up in some Canadian Olympic team uniforms of my own design.

Also need a few more public art to show off to people so ENJOY EVERYONE!!

Taking the Temperature of the Room...

I'm quite ahead of myself this month with my two pages posted already so I'm going to take this week to come up with the next stories while I do some clean up of my other comics.  I'm working on page 17 of Doves and the final page of Double Trouble.  I may instead work on another page of Shallow or Hannah Solo but it got me thinking what you would all like to see next!

I may take priority on some comics that are close to finishing but if everyone is here just for Little Lorna ...

Women's Studies Page #6 Posted!!

Annndddd... after about two years, Women's Studies is finally FINISHED!

I'm not sure if anyone finds this punchline funny but I guess that's my weird sense of humour.  Just the casual nature of sex and even getting pregnant in these comics I find so funny and ironic.

Women's Work... PAGE 5 POSTED!!

This page went pretty quick!  It was a difficult page to make with all of the crazy poses and angles and interaction as well as some of the moody lighting I needed to create but it was tons of fun to make.

I'm not sure why I placed the strange panels in the middle where Avery was developing a bit of a conscience about watching Samir fist Little Lorna but I may be working it into a later storyline.

Does he have a secret crush on her?  Is he really put off by Little Lorna'...

I hope everyone is having a great summer so far!  This summer is getting to be super busy with work as some big orders are coming in.  Its really nice to get lots of drawing done early in the morning and I actually have a difficult time trying to stop myself as I need to get some REAL work done.

I'm thinking through the Back To The Future spin off and I'm wondering what kind of crazy time machine Dr. Hoff makes?  I want to keep it a vehicle.  Maybe a creepy van? &nbs...

Meet The Littles!

Finished at last!!  I really wanted to do this sort of disclaimer comic ever since "Blondes Have More Fun" to explain Little Lorna's special relationship with her family.  Sort of a six page disclaimer!

I also wanted to try out a more unfinished style and see how it looks.  More clean pencils and shading.

You can probably tell the gross difference in art and finish style.  The first couple of pages are done on my iPad (blah!) and the next few on my old drawing ...

Welcome to JULY!!!

Summer has begun and it is finally cool weather out here in the Pacific North West.  Maybe about 27C during the day but a nice cool 17C at night which is actually more important.  The AC is still like being blown at by a mouse but it at least can keep up with the heat.

Women's Studies Page#4 POSTED!

Its still crazy hot  but its much cooler then it was the previous four days.  It seems like the AC can actually keep up with how much my drawing room was soaking up heat and I actually turned it off this morning!

Thanks everyone for hanging with me this month and I hammered out the rest of this page so everyone can get it before the month is up.  It was a good thing I did all of the clean pencils early and it was only a matter of inking, colouring and shading.

The oven!

There are so many advantages to drawing digitally. The downside is that when the room my cintiq is in is baking at 40C (100F?) it looks like I’m not doing any drawing until Wednesday. I know it’s fanweek so I’ll try and do that the first week of July when the temperatures are supposed to drop to the 20s and 30’s.

Good news is that I managed to get the AC working. Looks like a sticky fan which I manually cranked up. I hope I don’t burn out the motor over the next few days!...

Pencils for Page#4 done!

Its so stinking hot here!  This city known for its mild temperatures is in the midst of a crazy heat wave and I turn on the air con in my new place and... sputter sputter... plunk!

Grrr.  The old owners came by to see what was up but they're baffled.  It looks like there's not a repair guy to be found.  I checked youtube and they said to replace the capacitor which I did to no avail.

Anyone know anything about air con units?  I pressed the little button in...

I think the reason I like this page is that Little Lorna's emotional roller coaster is so corny.  I guess she may be bi-polar?  I guess I shouldn't analyze it too deep.  She's just a cartoon character.  :P

Clean Pencils

What a difference some tighter lines make.  I'm really looking forward to seeing how this page turns out cleanly inked and coloured!  a lot going on and interesting poses, and panels but even mores the range of expressions.  I hope the expressions isn't spoiling the story too much!

Of course, in real life, this is horrible but as my philosophy in comics go these erotic comics poke fun and parody sexual tropes and subjects.  It is the freedom that comics and cartoons ...

Working on page #3!

I noticed that the story really got moving quite quickly and I've got a lot of pages to expand this story!  I think I'm going to get to get Little Lorna three sex scenes in this one.

It was not my plan but the third one I'm sneaking in is a quickie with Mr. Ed.
