Inking page 5!

Okay.  Real work day has started but just wanted to show off a little bit of inking before I go to earn my pay.  I now ink aliased so the lines are all in hard pixels and not smoothed at all.  This doesn't look good like this but this is 600dpi so when it comes to exporting it to print size (150-300dpi) or posting size (50-75dpi) the jaggies disappear and the lines look much crisper.

A small detail that I started doing a little while ago was to draw the eyebrows and eyes inside ...

page 5 clean pencils

Just posting some more WIP (work in progress) images.

Generally, the rough pencils are good enough to ink low detail areas however, it is easier to spot errors when clean pencils are done.  Expressions require accuracy as our eyes are very finicky about little things like eye size mouth shape and eyebrow curve to read expression properly.  If I do not do clean pencils, I will usually at least clean pencil the face.

Little Lorna's rewrite of Resort Sports is going great!

This is the new page as the story is going to be completely different (well, maybe a few saved jokes).

There was two more steps before this (I forgot to post those but I'll do that for page 6).  After layout and volume sketches, I do some rough details.  Finger poses, breast placement.  More detail with facial expressions and I usually put the pupils in at this stage.

I have been working on prints for New Years rewards.

I have to do up two more cards to fit on the print however all $10 patrons will be getting a set of Force cards.  $5 will get their choice of four cards.

My top 10 supporters over the years will be getting a free calendar and depending on your lifetime support amount, Force cards too!

Other patrons will be getting a combination.
