Grinch donation drive Background

After a much-needed break, had to cover some end of year expenses. So, decided to put together a Christmas themed WG drive. And who better subject to use in this season than the Grinch himself. I do admit, I came in rather late in the month. But here in Mexico, the festivities extend into January, so there's no problem with that.

For the subject, I went with Illumination's version of the character, mainly because there's a scene that depicts him while "emotional eating", and he ends up...

If the WDC is the largest media conglomerate in the world, their mascot should reflect that, shouldn't it?

I've been wanting to work again with Mickey ever since I drew him for my Disney art pack a couple years back. Tried to emulate a bit the style from the latest shorts.

Stuffed Tom

For those of you who celebrate it, hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

It's been a while since I've had this idea floating around and not too long ago decided to use it for warming up. Yesterday decided to revisit it and to some minor tweaks, like adding a neck, and the other paw.

Magellan Dragon

In the end, decided to actually finish it, while trying some stuff out. What do you guys think?

Was going through the shows I used to watch in my childhood for inspiration, and this show came up. If you're unaware of it, it was called "Eureeka's Castle", produced for Nickelodeon originally airing between 1989 and 1991. I think I probably saw it on reruns.

The show was about some puppet characters that live inside a giant's music box castle and its protagonist was the titular Euree...

King-sized Simba

Consider this a practice run on making Simba massively huge. I'm still thinking on how to develop a growth sequence with him, but schoolwork has kept me from that. In the meantime, i hope this is able to satisfy your needs for a mountain of flab lion.

It ain't easy bein' (A Ton) of Cheesey

Chester Cheetah has been on my radar since I created my gallery, but finally decided to draw him. Really like when really skinny character likes him put a ton of weight. Makes the change more noticeable and I do believe he sports the added heft rather well.

As for the vending machine, really liking doing tese types of detailed props as of late. This one in particular was based off of one in the school I work at.

Maxxing larger still...

As time passes, Max grows larger still. Wonder what Goofy will say when his son comes home for the holidays?

Did these couple of sketches of Max a while back. The first one still needs a bit of cleaning up (just a few spots here and there) but looks good enough to post. The 2nd one was more exploratory for a rather large body shape, which ended up using for Max.

Barn-sized Otis

Guess Otis has been hanging around the cattle feed too much for his own good. What do you think the farmer will say once his sees this?

This time around tried a different approach to coloring the piece. Also, tried to use as little as possible the perspective guides, so it's mostly eye-balled. Think it came out pretty well. What do you think?

Big Otis

Don't know why Otis popped recently on my mind, and I believe it's a underappreciated character for expanding. Might have to do with the bizarre design choice to make him male and have udders, but to me that's hilarious.

Anyways, here he is. a bit chunkier than usual. Honestly curious, would you like to see a bit more of him in the future from me?

Campus Bull-oon

Finished reading Lupine's latest story involving Cal and Brad, and couldn't help myself. It's been a while since I've wanted to draw that big bull again, and ever since the Cheesecake dreams story happened, I've had the climatic scene in my head. This piece is inspired by both stories.

Bowser bulks

Given that Bowser day is on early August, what better subject to draw than the Koopa King himself. Here he's trying to outgrow the mushroom kingdom in an attempt to make it difficult for Mario to defeat him this time around. Enjoy!

Tremendous Timon

Apparently the last week of July is Fat Timon Week, which gives me the perfect excuse to draw this lad all huge again. I'm still in awe at the polish Timon has. Like, for reals, I can't stop looking at it because of how happy I am of the finished product. It's one of those instances of: Did I really just draw that? Hope you like it as well.

Donut Fountain

So finally here it is!

Seems our blue alien friend couldn't keep resisting Frenchfry's donuts. We're just seconds away from witnessing another expansion surge, with it's characteristic bounce.

Hope you like it. i had a really fun time making it. Especially the billboard, which is based on the sign found on Frenchfry's beach shack.

Quick health update

In case you haven't read over on twitter, had a minor health scare this week. Talked with a Neurologist and, from my symptoms, he described that I developed Peripheral Facial Paralysis. It can be fixed, it just takes time. The doctor has already prescribed me some medicine to treat it. In the meantime, the left side of my face feels a bit numb. As if I was coming out of local anesthesia. But so far, it only the face, the rest of the body is fine.

Summer Update

Hello everyone!

Hope you're doing well! Over here things are finally winding down a bit. Today is the last day I have to do school work, at least until August, so it gives me some time to rest for a bit, but also get started on other ideas I want to work over the summer months.

Mikey's Massive Mutation... with a vengance

Michelangelo being the defacto glutton of the team tends to eat pizza non-stop. After a previous encounter with a can of mutagen that made his appetite grow (as well as his gut), he kept the feasting going.
