Yeah... I feel quite bad about this one as it's WAAAAYYY overdue. Looking back I've got no clue how it got that far. Thankfully the "commissioner" (it was a thank you gift art for some computer hardware I received, basically saved my butt last year) The idea was to have it done a month later, not at the end of the darn decade. Yeah, gave her a temporary upgrade for this occasion. What's the occasion you may ask? Well, I've been digging a bit into how I conduct my art, streamlining a few processes and developing new ones while I'm at it. Lizzy here was the first to be exposed to a variety of new techniques.

yes, yes. Herm and all that. Had fun with this one! She's been on the shelves for quite a while, didn't know what to do with the inks. Then it hit me: wanted to try a new technique for a while, so here we are.
I used to color > shade > tweak all sorts of things to make it look nice
Normally I color > darken (put in shades) > lighten where light hits, more control
Now I made the entire thing in greyscale and then colored it, total control over light, less over colour, but...
