It has been an intense week in the garden! I've been working hard dragging loads upon loads of wood chips to the garden, laying down cardboard, moving plants, planting seeds and new berry shrubs, pulling poison ivy, and torching weeds. We just lost one of our hens, I finally got a new load of wood chips for the garden, and am nurturing my puppy back to recovery after an injury. Never a dull moment here! Still haven't had any rain. It's been weeks since it's rained, but it looks as though we'll finally get some next week. I've been babying the plants, and starting new seeds. The baby chicks are growing, and have been adjusting to the outdoors. Pretty soon I'll join them with the rest of the flock.

Hey guys! Wanted to share a slice of another part of my life - my band. We recently played a show in a record store, so here’s one of our songs live. It was insanely HOT 🥵 in there, 90s and no AC!!! I was sweating under that dress so much, but it was a lot of fun. The stage was tiny, I decided to play in front of it on the floor. The temperatures are starting to rise! It's already getting HOT outside. I've been getting out early in the garden, and enjoying the morning sun. Been taking care of the food forest, but also taking more time to just sit and enjoy the beautiful nature around me.

Hello and Happy Spring! The weather has been crazy - cold and rainy, and then dry and warm. I have news to share with you about what we plan to do with our chickens to keep them protected from predators. I also get more work done in the garden!

Guys, it's been a crazy couple of weeks! Lots of garden work, moved the goats around, and I give you an update on the area that flooded where the greenhouse used to be. Making some changes around here, just in time for spring. A day or two after filming this, we lost our rooster to a predator. I'll do another short video talking about that soon, and share more about what happened. Feeling very sad that he's gone!

I just got back from my much-needed trip to Puerto Rico, and wanted to share some of it with you. I also give you an update on what's been happening since I got back. After I got done recording this vlog, our power went out due to high winds that took a tree down on the power lines. We were without power overnight through much of the next day, but now it's back on. Thankfully!

I've been busy in the garden, getting it ready for spring planting. I decided to experiment this year by adding a couple of raised beds. In this video, I built one of them. I got my beds from Birdie, and they were easy to put together. We'll see how it goes this year! If you have any suggestions as to what I should grow in this tall round bed, let me know below :)

As you know, I've been ill this past week so I put together this video for you of some footage in nature and the garden. It begins with a special plant dear to my heart, GINGER! That's right, we got a new puppy for the farm. He's full of energy and I'm trying my best to keep up! It's been difficult on our older dog, so we're trying to figure out the best way to help him adjust. Plus, I got my soil test results back and was surprised by some of the findings. Lots of work to do on the garden this year!

I just added another video on Rumble, one of my old ones. Please like and follow me there! This is the second video I ever put out on my channel. It's fun looking back and seeing some of the things we were doing in the beginning of it all. It was our first winter back from living in Arizona, and we were not prepared.
