This is about the skin tone I always imagined Kory with (wrestler Eva Marie, who's mixed race). It weirds me out a bit when fandom says that she's a black woman and (I think) darkens old comics of hers for icons and such, since she's usually portrayed as an alien with an inhuman skin coloring in line with Gamora or any given Orion (just able to pass as human since she resembles a very tanned person; she worked as a model in the then-contemporary eighties, and I think it's obvious Perez and Wolfm...

Plastic Man

My take on Plastic Man--considering, even if you accept a DC superhero being a sexual harasser, there's no way 99% of superheroines would put up with that shit for one second--is that Wonder Woman sends him to a women's studies class, gets him to knock all the crude jokes and leering looks off... only now he's a male feminist who's just as annoying. But, they can live with it.

So lately I've been switching around some FCs. My headcanon is that all of the Gotham City Sirens are different body types. Harley Quinn is a petite gymnast--think Kristen Bell. Selina is more of a tall, statuesque model--maybe Charlize Theron. And Ivy is a voluptuous, fertility goddess type--hence, Christina Hendricks.

Because he's a badass, and has a cool costume, he gets thrown into whatever villain role DC can fit him into, from a lovelorn crazy man with a grudge against Green Arrow to Ra's al Ghul's treacherous right-hand-man to God only knows who he'll be in The Batman. And in the comics, he veers wildly from an all-out hero to a frickin' war criminal who nuked an entire city! Admittedly, he's scummy enough for his most famous story to involve...
