Hello, all! Thank you so much for your patience, I'm getting back into making TQ pages but they'll stay on here Patreon until I get more of a buffer going. I've been using this opportunity to teach my husband to do my flat colors for me so I can get more line art done. He's very very new to it but he's getting the hang of it pretty quickly, it just takes him more time. I'll have this page finished at some point by tomorrow.

A large part of what's taking so long with this chapter is the rapidly changing environment design. Usually I can just design a room, establish a shot, and be relatively good for the rest of the scene. This chapter is about Psyche discovering the ancient Greek equivalent of an enchanted castle and there's just so much work put into the backgrounds to convey that. I'm working mostly on Eros and Psyche pages right now and currently have a bunch in this flat color stage. I'm really loving how her dress design came out for this chapter!
I used to have a process where thumbnails/sketches would be their own major step and would have to work on lines and colors a different day. Now since I do thumbnails on my ipad I can sketch over it, line and flat it on the same day. It's so much more fluid!
