UMMM So apparently I sketched this almost a year ago and promptly forgot all about it because I'm pretty sure I never posted it anywhere.
Pagra Zhu is like the tallest character in the series, by the way. Just the lankiest boy.

I finished the prelims! Now I can work on more pages!
I'm also going to try to work on some stand-alone art for Tigress Queen that can be used for promo stuff. If anyone has any suggestions I'd be happy to hear them! Just think about the kind of stuff you'd love to have as a print on your wall.

Huzzah, colors! This won't be going up on the site this week, still getting thumbnails in order, but I really just wanted to sit down and color today so here you go.
P.S. Originally I had a lot of trouble showing how snide and back-handed Makzusa is and I will try so much harder this time to get it right.

THIS IS IT! This is the end of Far to the North Volume 1. I intend to take some time off from the series to focus on other, shorter, comics. When I do come back to this series I would like to basically redo the old pages to prepare the book for print before starting on Volume 2, so it could easily be a couple of years before I'm able to resume the story. Which is fine with me, because I haven't finished plotting out the next volume anyway. This whole comic has been a huge learning proce...

Sometimes I really like how a thumbnail comes out but then once the page is finished I end up not liking it as much. I'm worried that these stupid boats are going to mess this one up for me <:'(
