From left to right:
First, we have an example of Kizarasunga's nearly full armor. She has some gauntlets as well because she tends to just grab at people's swords. The bangs are relatively recent, so this would have been after becoming the six-feathers.

So imagine wearing a lace sari with a shrug attached, with a plain wrap underneath for modesty. And lots and lots of gold jewelry. That's what the fashion is in Saengor. The extra length of the lacy fabric can be used to cover the hair and face if a lady is feeling particularly dainty. Otherwise it is slung over the arms.

Ah, the advantages of being shorter than your opponent...
Hope everyone is looking forward to Feb 1st, I've already uploaded all the sketches to patreon and I've got them saved in my drafts. Uploading things here takes forever. Literally took me an hour to do and I didn't even really have all that many comments to write out.
That said, does anyone have any requests for sketches?

Behold, Kelu's mighty hammer! She gets it in volume 2, along with a cute new outfit. I drew Mizha first on this page so she's a bit... elevated (I don't really plan things out well when I'm doodling), but this would be a good idea of their sizes in relation to one another. She comes up to about Kelu's shoulder normally. While we're at it, Junuka is maybe only an inch or two shorter than Kelu when he can actually stand up straight.

This one was right next to that first sketch of all three of them in my sketchbook. I wasn't completely sure what kinds of weapons I wanted her to use but I always knew the sword wouldn't be her main one.
Basically the sword is her least favorite weapon. It gives her a disadvantage because she has less reach and such. Her favorite weapon is the bow because she's been using it the longest. Her favorite melee weapons are a bit more... unusual, but they retained...

I reuse names a lot with my sketches. If I don't like the story I originally came up with, I use the names for something else. I happened to find this in one of the books while looking for comic stuff. This particular story was based on a dream I'd had, but I won't go into it because it will never be a thing. This would have been drawn waaaaay back in high school. The original Razendi had purple hair, so I always associated the name with the color.

Ok, so the original original sketch would have been done back in middle school, and those sketchbooks were all thrown away. Kizarasunga's name was shorter, her hair was shorter, her eyes were green instead of amber, and she had a big sleeveless coat. The story was much different and Zusufula was drawn here on a whim.
