Karolyne waited to finish making this because she wanted me to decide on how the lighting should be on that first panel. ;) The main image you see here is the one I ultimately picked, but I'll show you what the other lighting would have looked like below:

Not a lot to say here, other than she's starting to turn, complete with a bit of fanservice. : P

 And also, the room they're in might be changed a tad since it's supposed to be Sam's room. Once again, sorry about things being slow for a while, but we are making up for lost time!

Sorry this took so long! Karolyne was a bit busy, while I myself had to talk to a lawyer this morning for certain reasons. X_X

Anyway, I have this page, and the sketch for 18 all ready! I also have a nearly finished version of 17 I will show off afterwards, and a little poll I'm going to show off after that!

But yes, you guys are finally gonna get werewolf shenanigans again, just like I promised. XP

BRIEF PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

I already mentioned this on the Chapter 4 Page 16 post, but I might as well give those who are simply browsing this Patreon a heads up as well:

I will be in Las Vegas from the 20th-24th (about 11-10 days from the time of this post), so updates might be a tad slow that week. I'll have free wi-fi at the hotel, so hopefully it won't make too much of a difference!

Chapter 4 Page 16 Final

Karolyne sent me the sketch of this page earlier today, but before I had the chance to upload it on Patreon, she finished the page itself. So there ya go. XD

Also, I have a slight announcement to make: I'm gonna be going to Las Vegas from the 20th-24th this month; I'll have free wifi at the hotel, so I don't think it will impact any schedules regarding here or on DA/FA/ComicFury too much, but I'd figure I would make mention of this, just in case. ;)

Just a bit of a heads up; Karolyne might be a tad late with finishing this page this week, but if that happens, she mentioned she will give me the finished versions of this page and 16 next week! Hopefully, you folks won't mind that too much.

ALso, I'm a tad worried that the Patreon suddenly went down to $94... X_X

Anyway, I promise interesting stuff happens on the next page. I just need to do set-up stuff in terms of the dialogue. ;)

Chapter 1 Remake Page 14 FINAL

The page was finished last night, but we had a tiny hiccup with the text (I thought we were originally not going to be able to fit a word with a lot of letters like "supermarket" on the whole bubble), but that was easily taken care of. : )

I'm pretty curious to see how Karolyne's gonna handle Simon's introduction to this scene on the next page. XP

Chapter 1 Remake Page 14 SKETCH

Feels good that I will finally get all 4 pages to you guys on time for a change! Can't remember the last time that happened! Hopefully it's a testament to how committed I am to making sure this whole thing works. : )

Anyway, there's no immediate changes that need to be addressed (other than the "local supermarket" line needing a - so people don't read it as "supermarke t". And the watch showing that it's 5:30. :P

UPDATE: The posters are now stuff I just pulled out of my head, and 100% less DMCA-worthy. XP

So, if anyone is wondering what exactly the posters are...: 

 1. A 50's horror movie about killer jellyfish attacking Mardi Gras, and it can be titled "The Jellyfish Jambalaya Disaster"

2. A  60's western film with two cowboys slinging spaghetti at each other, and it could be titled, "Tortellini Tragedy"

Chapter 1 Remake Page 12 FINAL

Karolyne's doin' a bang-up job, as always, here. :P

So, she has told me that since she has other commissions to work on as well, she is making sure that finished pages will be up for you guys by Friday (give or take), which is absolutely fine, considering I upload to the public on the same day. If something comes up where she goes on vacation or whathaveyou, she'll let me know in advance, so we will hopefully not have any fiascoes like we did with the last artist.

Chapter 1 Remake Page 11 FINAL

Like I said, Karolyne is quick on the draw, and I already love her for that! Not much to say here, other than I've tweaked the lines and dialogue for this scene to clarify stuff. 

But yeah, first new page since like May! :D

Remember when I said I wouldn't change Sam's jacket?

I lied... sorta. Don't worry, Sam still has his yellow jacket, but Karolyne suggested that he should have a different jacket for the scene where he meets Lydia at the park; I think it would be a nice contrast for the setting sun, and it makes sense for the scene since it's the day after the previous scene.

So, I'm keeping the emblem that was on the sketched version of 11 and 12 too. 

A little bit off-topic, but I'm honestly very tempted to have Karolyne remake Chapter 2 onwards ever...

Chapter 1 remake pages 11+12 Sketches

Karolyne is already hard at work on the pages, as we can see. I'm super excited with what I'm seeing so far; look at the backgrounds!

Only thing that needs to be changed is the symbol on Sam's jackets needs to be gone, mainly for consistency reasons, but I did tell her that we could have that on either another jacket Sam could wear, or on one of his shirts.

So, Karolyne was very generous and decided to make this drawing of Lydia as a gift for you guys! I'll wait until the weekend to upload this anywhere to the public, so consider this a timed exclusive. :P

I really like the way our new artist designed her werewolf form (this is my first real look at the design as much as it is with you); it's similar, but slightly different in that she now has a more defined facial structure, so the posibilities of what her expressions can be are endless. :D

KarolyneRocha's Lydia Coloring Test

As I'm crossing my fingers I won't take a huge hit because of last night's fiasco (you can read the post below for more info), our new artist just made a coloring test, and asked me which of the three coloring styles I liked the best.

Personally, I'm liking 1 and 2; it's sorta like a combination of Ataribetch's style but with a tiny bit more detail. I think she will do wonders with this comic, once she starts!

(IMPORTANT NOTICE!) The new $3 and $5 tiers are now in effect.

So, I have a bit of bad news: Patreon decided to make things a little complicated by not letting me simply edit the price of the pledge tiers, so I had to unpublish and remove them before I re-added them. It was a real pain. 

With that being said, you guys will have to re-select the Regular and Amigo tiers if either one of them was your pledge level.

I apologize for the inconvenience! : (

PS, it took me a while to update the stretch goals, but I finally did it...

PSA: New Prices will go into effect Tomorrow (June 30th)

As I've mentioned earlier, Karolyne (the new artist) will start work on the comic in July, and I am planning on setting the new prices tomorrow so that they will be in effect just in time for the new month. I wanted to wait until the last day of June because I didn't want to risk you fine folks getting charged the difference if I updated the price any earlier. Hopefully, I was wrong, and the new prices would only go in affect the next month, but I didn't want to take any chances.

At the moment, I am hoping to resume the comic in July, so hopefully it won't be too long before we get things back to normal! I'll start making changes with the Patreon around that time as well. (I'll probably make another post asking what you guys would like to see, in case I need to retire/replace tiers and the like).

But yeah, I'm happy this fiasco is finally over. XP...
