I had a good week of writing and while I’m still not where I need to be wordcount wise, I’m much closer. The physical therapy on my wrist/arm is helping so that also got better this week.

April 20, 2024 - Update

Hi!

This week I made some much needed changes to my lifestyle. Specifically, I’ve been getting more sleep and drinking more water. I’ve had one health issue after another and I think some of it can be traced back to not taking care of myself like I should. Hi!

I did a little better this week and have one chapter for each story. Another Ash chapter is with the editor and I’ll release that when I get it, probably this weekend. I need to find my pace soon or I’m going to have to put the Ash story on hold, as I need to finish book 10 by early June.

In fact, I just did the math. To meet the deadline for Travis and allow time for edits and rewrites, I need to write a book 10 chapter every single day from now until June. Wow.

I’m not releasing any chapters tonight. ☹ This almost never happens but the last week held a lot of challenges. In addition to the pain in my left wrist/forearm (doctor prescribed some PT so hopefully it gets better) I got hit by a migraine. This week the major thing that happened was I decided to act on some good advice. I think I can manage dictating (RSI is still bad) six chapters a week, but I can’t edit six chapters in a week as well.
