March 28, 2020 - Update

Hi All! While I had some challenges this week with productivity, I managed to make some progress late in the week. I had always imagined working from home would be less work, but it turns out I'm working more at home! I expect that to lessen a little as the industry I work in (public transportation) adjusts to the new reality.

Book Two Chapters

Hi all. I just learned about a rule that Amazon has regarding books that are in KU. They won't allow more than 10% of that book to be anywhere else once it is published with them.  This does not affect book three chapters right now since it is not yet published. March 7, 2020 - Update

Hi everyone! I just returned from a long drive through three states. My productivity shows it too. I had really wanted to get into the nuts and bolts of the Harvester's magic system, but that will have to wait until next week.

Hi everyone!

Another week where life conspired against my writing. I really hope to get into a more regular process next week.

I am still figuring out how much to reveal and describe in these early chapters. They feel rougher to me than my normal output. The chapters next week will reveal something I've been wanting to do since the beginning. I'm excited for you to read it.

They found the creature a minute later. 

The beaver had dragged its body to the severed head, and then over to the hand discarded by Lylan. The beaver’s head sat a foot from the body, and its eyes tracked them as they approached. The body used its stump and hand to press its torso back together.

“That is really disturbing,” Lylan said.

The severed hand used its fingers to crawl closer to the head as if it meant to protect it.

February 22, 2020 - Update

Hey everyone! I plan to keep this update short as I stayed up way too late to get an extra chapter for you all to enjoy. 

The Second Betrayal is doing well and it makes me very happy that the story continues to resonate with those that enjoyed the first book.

While I know how things should work, I am still figuring out the best way to communicate it. There is a possibility that these early chapters might change considerably in future drafts.  Time will tell.

February 9, 2020 - Patron Details

Hi everyone. The ebook has been loaded up to Amazon, and I will probably release it soon. The paperback will be available either tomorrow or Tuesday, but I don't want to wait for it. The book came in at 536 pages, so it is 20% longer than book one.
