Klave came to me wanting me to design his new bear character with him. I really do enjoy when a character has a more natural color scheme and a neat shape. We just added some fun reds to the fur, a nice thick build, and some neat veins of gold down his arm. Super enjoyable on my end and narrowly tailored design I can be proud to be a part of!

This update is the end of Erenye's little story. The plan from here is to spend the next month or so fixing things and adding some fun battles and side content before I continue with the main plot.

I wanted to release a quick update because of some really silly control flow issues that block out some of the newer content for some folks, also the fluster system's late balancing was completely wrong. I really need to break the habit of doing last second changes right before the updates deploy, because it always screws up some odd thing!
You can download the fixes here, they shouldn't conflict with anything in the last update's saves:

It's always staggering looking at my progress month after month. This project has meant a lot to me, and I'm really proud of how far I've come without prior experience. Thanks for all the consistent support.

This update features a lot of new and diverse content. We have some completed scenes with Ares with new art, some new plot with Mila, Erenye, and Bacchus. This update also features upgraded enemy AI and strategies, enemies now have weighted decisions for their actions and will try to beat you based on the conditions of the fight (which is now easier due to the fluster mechanic.)

2022-03-16 21:21:32 +0000 UTC View PostHey all! Sorry about the buggy last release. It's usually just a single line here or there that I change and it causes so much to happen. I've spent a bunch of time collecting the errors and picking them off one-by-one, then I also added new stuff. Great.
This release probably won't be perfect, but it's my hope that it won't have any huge glaring bugs.
The focus of this release is side content and expanding the game outward. I focused on mostly self-contained stories.

This one is... particularly unstable. I'm trying to release these regularly but this week I just went crazy on assets and implementation. Adding a journal and making it dynamically unlockable was a trick and a half, so expect a lot of weird problems that I'll polish off on release! There's a lot of fun new content though, too.
