Took Jody back to the doctor yesterday. She needs more scans in Dalby next week. So another 3hr drive round trip ahead.
Needs to be done though. Hopefully once the swelling and bruising settles, they will be able to see a bit more of what damage is there.

So Jody had a trip stepping out the front door. Went to Miles hospital. No one there to run the x-ray machine. No one at Chinchilla hospital either. 1.5hr drive to Dalby for x-rays. Torn ligaments and possible fractures in the bottom of my foot. Need to rest up for a minimum of 2 weeks, preferably 6 weeks.
Poor Michael has to deal with the goats and pigs etc all on his own.

Summer of 2023/2024 my aircon wouldn't work. We were having 45 degree Celsius days and higher. It was becoming quite unbearable. We couldn't get anyone to come look at it as they were all on holidays. So Michael, as sick as he was back then, decided to try fixing it.

This was our first photo in Facebook, when we launched Bare Camp 2 years ago. There was no issue with it being up for that whole time until last month. Then all of a sudden the rules changed and it was taken down.
No we don't have the pool up anymore. While great in summer it uses too much water. Living out here on tank water, we have to be a bit more careful with it.

We found this video from a couple of years ago. We had received a lot of rain and Jody decided to go for a walk in thongs/flipflops down to the dam. She had fallen in mud before, but this time Michael managed to get a video of it.

When we finally got the plumber to install our hotwater system, we asked them to also install an outdoor shower. This was long before we even had launched Bare Camp.
It is a wonderful feeling to be able to shower outside nude. It keeps the dirt outside and not in our tiny home. The water runs into a garden. We also have a bucket there to collect some of the water as well. This goes onto other gardens and trees.
Our customers can also use it. We are on Tank water though, so quick showe...

These pictures were taken Christmas 2023. We had Nick & Lins from Naked Wanderings visiting us. Also my parents tried nudism for the first time. It was a very memorable Christmas for us.

Well we decided it was time to ween Flopsy's baby boy off her as we want to sell him soon. He is a pretty big boy and really doesn't need to be sucking teat anymore.
Flopsy makes a lot of milk. So we decided to milk her to help relieve her and to reduce the risk of mastitis.
We have both milked cows before. So how hard could a goat be? It was a bit funny. We got there though eventually. Michael did better than me. If we were going to milk goats for milk and cheese we would definitely ...
We love our life out here. It is tough. Our learning curve has been high. We have had to deal with lots. Despite all the struggles and sacrifices, we are stronger than ever. We are true partners in this endeavour and love each other very much.

This was a Sunday. We got a call early that morning from a farmer we know. He had a sheep and a goat that had been rejected by their mums. He didn't have time to look after them. So of course Jody said yes and we went and picked them up.
The goat is Maximus and the sheep is Sean.
We were tired of our goats eating our fruit trees, vegetables, herbs etc, all of the time. So we decide to make the front of the house a fruit & vege forest.
