D.a.L : April Update

These are the monthly pages for my webcomic "The Dragon and the Lemur". This comic is NOT furry. While it contains anthro characters, these are rare and not the focus. The focus are humanoid characters - humans with animal characteristics.

APRIL UPDATE : This following update contains FERAL sex, which means it's sex between two non-anthro animals (specifically dragons). So beware before checking these out!

If you are interested in reading the comic, you can find it <...

Scientific Illustration : Tiger

After the first attempt at scratchboard and how frustated my teacher left me, I was set on trying this on my own terms, so this is the result.

WIP: Scientific Illustration

After the frustration the zebra brought me, I decided to start with a tiger like I always wanted. So here it is, the current work in progress.

I'm doing this veeeery slowly (like 1 hour a day) so that means I'll take ages to finish, but at least I'm a lot more pleased with it.

Scientific Illustration : Zebra

It's unfinished yes.

Not so fun bit about this. So, scratchboard is a technique that works great on contrast but it's amazing for anything that has fur or hair; if you search on google, you'll find mostly animals done with this technique because of the fur, and the results are absolutely amazing.

So during the Scientific Illustration course, we finally got to the scratchboard technique and I couldn't wait to start. The teacher told us to bring photos of that ...

Scientific Illustration : Scratchboard training

We have finally been introduced to scratchboard during class; we were asked to do random patters, so these are mine.  Tomorrow I'll do an actual painting I hope

Scientific Illustration : Skull

My most recent work, using China Ink and Pointillism. Pointillism  is a technique of painting in which small, distinct black dots are applied to form an image. In order to do the shading, the dots are brought closer together, and to imply light, the dots are spread out more.

I do love this technique because it's so easy for me. But i'll starting  scratchboard  soon, which I'll post here as well c:
