This month focus of work will be tilesets as I said previously, but I had to finish what I started so I finished today a small new food asset, and also, thanks to manowell (our amazing commissioned artist) you guys will have an extra asset. both HD icons but hope you are looking forward to it!

Yet another sneak peak!

Some time ago I was commissioned to make some portraits for some of the roguelike raven character sprites, and the person was kind enough to give me the rights to distribute it. Today I decided to make some extra portraits for rogue-like heroes and will release it as a standalone small pack this month!

PS: I may do some small changes on it but these are possibly the final version.

Sneak Peak!

Update on Icons!

The New Icon set is ready to be released, I decided to split this set in two and essentially make it bigger, with this one above the current to be released and a future smaller one featuring around 32 icons for ready food and some other stuff. This set is expected to be released this week, I hope you folks are looking forward to it :)

It's time to talk about the next asset

Character Template was released, a big asset that I know will be useful to the ones that can make a bit of pixel art with it, to others it will certainly be useful as I add accessories, hair, clothes, and new weapons, but for now, I will put it aside for us to return to our roots and create new assets for the ongoing series.

There is a new HD icon pack, with shields almost ready to be released, thanks again to Manowell, the artist commissioned with Patreon revenue and you guys will soon...

April Newsletter

Hello folks, time for another newsletter! I'm very happy to announce that the Character Pack is finally on its release stage! Thanks, everyone for the patience, I will post more updates soon about it, but after final testing and perhaps some small fixes the asset will be released this month!

Update on magic animation!

Hello folks! Its me again, today I brought some ideas and a bit of a simple demonstration gif.

Originally I thought the spell animation to be some hand movements and things that "anyone" could use to cast spells, but, since I saw that some already made animations like "throwing" or "picking up" could be used for spells too, I decided that is probably better to include a staff/wand movement animation instead, so when I do release some witch/warlock clothing you guys will also have some ...

Yet Another Character animation update!

I have finished another animation, the bow one. Now there is only one more animation before the final polishing step and release, the "casting magic" one! Thanks for the patience folks, and, one more icon pack is almost ready to be released while you guys wait for the characters, hope you like it as well :)

March Newsletter

Hello people, newsletter here just to keep the tradition, february was quite the slow month, I has and kind of have to take care of some medical issues (dental, mostly) and I have to thank Manowell that helped me with the last release to not let you folks a month without new stuff, either way, the plan is the same, I'm almost done with the character pack, it will be probably the greatest release in a while so I have to be sure it will be released as good as possible, hope you guys are looking...

Dodge and Bow animation

all 4 directional dodge animations are finished, they may look a bit simple but its ideal that specific effects, like dust or a blur will be added in engine, considering that above this sprite will be layers and layers of clothing.

Further, I started working on a bow animation which is last but one of the animations before the final polishment step. The last one is "casting spell"

Character animation update and decisions

After some research and finally my holiday is over I decided what to do with the dodge roll animation. First, it will be a dash, not a roll, various motives but ultimately because a roll would make too dificult to customize the character with clothes, equipment etc, it may look kind of cool but is unfortunately something that works better with 3D, second, its easier, not gonna lie, to make a cool dodge roll I would have to make a 2 sets of animations for each direction the character is lookin...

February Newsletter

Hello folks, is that time of time month, for a minute I thought that january would never end lol, either way, many animations were finished for our character base, but we still have some remaining, including: Bow animation, Magic and roll/dash" I say roll or dash because i'm not sure how the roll thing will look like at the end so perhaps a dash would be a better option, so i'm keeping it open for now.

Characters Update!

Hello folks! time for a bit of a mid-month update to show the new stuff (and also to show that I'm definitely not spending my time on finishing Cyberpunk 2077). This month and probably the next one I will be focusing on the character pack and perhaps some extra commissions as you may need it, until today I finished a couple of animations being:

- 4 directions push and pull

- 4 directions death

- 4 directions fishing
