Sandboxie Plus 1.9.1 Released

This release addresses multiple issues and introduces new features.  Firstly, a critical memory corruption problem with privacy enhanced  sandboxes has been resolved. Additionally, a hooking bug affecting ARM64  devices has been fixed, along with several other bugs. Furthermore, the  user interface has been improved and additional protection features  have been added.

Are you still using windows 7 or 8/8.1?

I'm considering to use Qt6 for the insider Sandboxie builds this means we would only get the x64 and ARM64 versions and loose windows 7 compatibility.

So in order to be able to proceed, or not, I need to find out which windows versions are used by the Insiders.

Sandboxie-Plus v1.8.2 Released

Tier Updates, etc...

I have revised the patron tiers to clarify the differences and benefits as well as added some perks.

The biggest change is that new members at the 1$ tier will no longer be entitled to use premium features which require a certificate. Given that the small Sandboxie certificate costs 20€/year and is only valid for Sandboxie, while the patrons once are valid also for other software (in the making), this change seams overdue.

Already active patrons on the 1$ (Just Thanks) tier will...

Sandboxie-Plus v1.8.0 released

This build introduced a couple of major changes to sansdboxies inner  mechanics, all preset access directives have been moved to template  entries. Sandboxie now fully isolates the NT namespace reducing the  potential attack surface. Last but not least a couple of compatibility  fixes should improve the use of chrome and chromium based applications.

Sandboxie-Plus v1.7.2 released

This build enables shadow stack for the SbieDll.dll improving on  security on systems with gen11 Intel and Ryzen 5000 AMD CPUs.

Sandboxie-Plus 1.7.1 Released

This build improves the user experience by providing a new Box creation wizard and improving on the box picker dialog.

Sandboxie-Plus v1.6.5 is ready

This build fixed a couple issues with ARM64 and massively improves in  the trace logging functionality. Sandboxie's core components can now  log syscalls in user mode, hence syscall tracing is available also in  compartment type boxes as well as for all win32 syscalls.
Further more the Trace Log in the Plus UI has been massively reworked it can now handle 10 Million log lines in under 1 second.
