Valentine's PinUp 2021: Jan
Thought we'd give Jan some love for this year's Valentine's pinup. The problem is that Jan wears red exactly once a year--at Christmas time. (Twice depending on what she's going as for Halloween.) So she had to get something quick for the occasion and you see what happens.
I hope you all spent the day either with someone you love, or, failing that, doing something you love. Happy Valentine's Day!

I’m going to try to fill more of my bits of downtime in between other activites just sketching. It was suggested recently by a long time follower that my werewolf muzzles could use some work, and they’re probably not wrong. I definitely spend more time on the ladies then on the creatures they become I doodled these while being stuck on hold on the phone.

Meant to upload these with the rest but my internet fritzed out briefly. These are some of the steps of the "JennyFight" image from Autodesk Sketchbook before I sent it to Clip Studio for coloring. Image one is the sketch and image two is the final pencils. Image three was part of my coloring experiemnt. The idea was to fill in the shading with pencil in Sketchbook then use blurring and blending techniques in Clip Studio to add rendering to the color. ...

Here's something a little more on topic than my last post. I wanted to try a new coloring technique and whipped this one up to try it. The coloring idea didn't work out like I'd hoped so I redid it in my more traditional method, and added some lettering too. There's no sequence for this, at least for now... just something to keep the juices flowing. Enjoy!

Here's another idea that I played with over the break: Ashley Park. A weather girl who is mistaken (often) for her sister, an investigative reporter. One accident later, and when her sister's work gets her in the crossfire, wackiness ensues. I really liked my Shulkie Design for this one.
