Since Drift is my loner character I thought it would be fitting to do this piece for him. It’s kind of about having close friends who stop making time for you and start to actively ignore you.

Also I want to mention a lot of the time people are busy or stressed or have things going on etc and can’t reply so this image doesn’t apply to that! Just more about having had friends who drifted and lost interest in speaking to you. 💔

Concept for a random idea that popped into my head, I must have seen or heard of this comcept or something like it somewhere because the idea feels familiar 😆 but anyway! It’s a deer type creature with sharp icicle legs and horns. I’ll put them up for sale to adopt when they’re done but for now here’s the concept!

Little drawing of Drift I’m working on in between commissions, I’m finding that doing a mix of personal work and commission work is helping me to stay motivated 🥺

Drift is one of my oldest and most favourite characters, he’s basically a lone wolf

Finished this as a warmup!

I know it’s messy but I’m trying to not be too much of a perfectionist with personal art because it’s more just to get ideas, concepts and expressive things done 🥰

Honestly I’m not sure if I even did a good job but I wanted to try making a design based on the image as a little challenge. Maybe I’ll change how I feel tomorrow but I hope you guys like them 🥺

Something a bit different

This was initially going to be a snake shark hybrid but ended up turning into whatever this is :D I used to love making creature things like this when I was a kid, I’m very rusty at it. This was fun to try though, I’ll try to clean up the design sometime.

Sadly my iPad only allows me to use 3 layers for the huge canvas size I need to use to make this so I’m having to make each section on separate canvases, but I’m determined to do this!

I hope you're doing well!! I'm really sorry if there's a slowness in posts recently, I try to post as often as possible (daily if I can.) I'm currently working through a few commissions and also trying to make sure I take a bit of time for myself to avoid burnout and keep myself in a good mindset.
