It's a tradition that a Behemoth Hunter have to tame their own beast, and treat it like a family.
they sleep together, eat together, join whatever they does together.
They protect each other, cover each other weakness.
It's common to treat a Hunter beast as a reflection of that Hunter but sometime it is not really the case.
