Another update

Hello guys. Just wanted to let you guys quickly know that i have been very busy for the  past few weeks and i thought i could let you guys know whats going on.

I am currently working on a new short film and i am also just editing a youtube tutorial which is taking me ages. I promise i will post a tutorial as soon as im done with this youtube tutorial. Hopefully by the end of next week.

Hello guys. Here is some more progress on the submission. I have added in some smoke around the city and adjusted the bike animation.

So i actually attached an arm which is holding a pizza on the drone, which is being chased by a robot on a bike. It sounds abit funny but i actually kind of like the humour from this on the story. I am having so much fun with this and learning alot at the same time. 

I will be sure to post a breakdown of this scene once i am done with this.

More progress on the challenge!

Here's a (kinda) better quality and new version of it.

So.. i basically have finally come up with a story for this animation. So a robot on a bike is chasing a delivery robot holding pizza, and is trying to steal it. I have thought of making it so the drone drops the pizza on the guy on the bike and he ends up crashing (This is just an idea). Let me know if you guys have any other ideas.

Spaceship drifting - Template

Hello guys. I completely forgot where i got the spaceship model from but i decided to release a first ever template on my patreon. Have fun with this one.

All you need to do it get your own spaceship and parent it to the arrow empty (and delete the current one ) and  your spaceship has a cool animation on it! Hope you guys  like it. You can also make your own environment with it aswell.

Endless engines Progress 006

Here is some more progress on the animation and I'lm glad to say that I am kind of happy with it so far. I need to add so much more stuff to this like pipes, holograms, billboards.
I am coming up with more ideas the more I work on this. The main key thing I need to add is a story behind this, other wise it's just some random robot on a bike.

Endless Engines Progress: 005

I am sort of messing around with the lighting on this one. (im kind of happy with the lighting)

I am not initially happy with the composition. I need to make it feel more dense. I am still going. I think once i add in some actual shops/buildings, it will look much more better. I also need to give more time for people to know and see whats actually going on in the environment.

Endless Engines Progress: 004

I added in some simple textures and slapped on a random billboard texture for the billboards/adverts. This test render is just to see how the composition is.

I need to add some more building details, improve the textures, add some shops and loads of other stuff. My brain is already fried at this point.

The main thing that will make this look cool is the lighting. (Which i am trying to get the hang of) I am unsure of if i should do a daylight scene or a night time ...

Endless Engines Progress: 003

Here is some progress on the blockout for the environment. It's not completely done. I just need to add some more stuff that usually are in streets (as simple blockouts) like more billboards and signs. I am really trying to get a nice composition.
I am also trying to integrate meaning, and the reason for the placements or layout of the whole city. I don't want it to just be random sci fi buildings scattered around that are closer to the camera, I am going to make sure there is some reason ...

Pretty much finished the new robot. I rigged him, which took alot of re-trys, due to auto rig pro not working i used the micamo rig instead. It seems to work now.

Endless Engines Progress: 001

Here is some progress on my submission for the endless engines challenge. Its literally the same bike from my joyrider animation, but with only a few extra stuff. However, i am making a completely new robot for this animation, its upgraded, looks more badass, has some visual pistons and cables (i will add more cables) and i am quite happy with the result so far.

There is one thing i might need help with. I need help with coming up for a name for this ro...

Work in progress city shot

I have been working on this shot for the past week just really trying to get that nice city kind of look. I dont think its fully done yet but too be honest nothing is ever done, there is always something to add in any scene. I am kind of happy with it, i might need to adjust some shops and fix some lighting in the distant.
