In hindsight I have no idea how I got Huge Quest done so quickly. This project won't quite be 20 minutes long, but it's still long. Toonboom can't render out more than 16,000 frames, so I've actually had to draw an entire timeline, then make a new part 2 folder and go back ...

Griping on Picarto: Making an Animated GIF

Few things are as fun as stopping in the middle of an animation project to host two major streaming events and then stopping that to race to host a two day streaming session in which you laboriously design and assemble a complex animation and then compile all that together to perform commentary tracks for a video you need to product and release in three days. I'm tired.

That Poll Update

The Dark Souls animatic idea won out in a fairly big way. Since then, I've written it, recorded all the characters' lines, edited that, went through all the Dark Souls audio files, pulled various sound effects off the internet, assembled it, edited that some more, and so on.

But like I said, this may (probably) will slide over into November so I may end up doing an Art Gripe or something in October anyway. That's what I'll be working on for quite a while. I'll likely not be able to resist ...
