Able to Flash Sync up to 1/1000th of a second. Able to expose a subject and allow the background to go darker than would have been able to with a standard focal plane shutter.
ISO 200, F8, 1/500th of a second.

Jenny Set
At the Standard NYC last week.
Jenny only shot with me and George Pitts mostly. He once told me how lucky we were to be able to photograph her.
I shot Jenny the night before his memorial Service at Parsons. It was a really good shoot as they always are with her, and the next day was emotional, sad, and grateful for sharing our love for this most incredible man.
He will be missed by many people whose lives were touched by him, and the one thing I will always cheris...

Inspiration
Val Loveshine on the rail.
Meeting with a friend later this week. Topic of discussion : Inspiration.
I'll write more soon on the things that inspire me. I try and keep it mostly non photography although certainly I see things on Tumblr and Instagram that are inspiring all the time.
For me though, there are other things I feel like I tap into more. Number one is Music. Number 2 is Motion Graphics.

Crash Plan
One of the biggest pain in the butt things to do with photography is having your stuff backed up properly.
I shoot mostly digital and the amount of storage needed seems to get harder and harder to manage. Last year I added another layer of protection by using a online cloud backup site called crash plan. www.crashplan.com
Up until this week it had been great but something in the past week has caused the background program to randomly crash. Been sort of frustrated the past two days...
