Demesne 319 - Illumination and Water Reclamation

Once the mine was sealed, Lori would have liked to just seal off her alcove and sleep. They were secure behind her defenses, the lightningwisps should be sufficient to keep bugs or bug-like abominations out, they had air, and the mine and its intakes was sufficiently elevated that most deadly gasses that dragons would likely to produce—egg gas came to mind—would likely pass them by.

Unfortunately, besides someone trying to kill her, there were also other things she needed to do.

Demesne 318 - Sleeping And Waking

Dinner was without incident, especially after Yoshka fully woke up to eat. Yrria and Tena finally relaxed during the meal, apparently taking comfort in the familiarity of the food. After dinner, she, Karina, Ateh Koyan and Ateh Kayas took the younger ones to the baths.

So, my headaches are still a thing, and try as I might, I have to slow down to deal with it. I'm sorry, but I must announce that for the next two weeks, until this damned thing goes away, I'll have to throttle things down to twice a week, Mondays and Fridays. Hopefully I won't lost for to long, but that's what I prayed last week.

Due to recent events---a headache that started on Wednesday and hasn't really gone away, just gotten weaker and stronger to no pattern i can recognize---I might have to delay updates by a week as I either get it to go away or learn to put up with it. I'll still put up a chapter on the 2nd, but depending on how things go, the next might be delayed until the 12th. Sorry guys.

UPDATE: after further agony, the headache seems to be a nasal thing, as I can make it go away by lying down on one...

I'm like 70% finished with the edits for volume 1. No illustrations commissioned yet, which will be why publishing is being drawn out to June at the very least, but I'll get there. In the meantime, what sort of book-exclusive chapter to you guys want to see in Volume 1 (besides a map, yes, I know)?
