Weekly status report

Good evening,

the week is coming to an end and with it it's time for a short update on my progress.

The first thing I did was to finally finish the map to the south of Arenfield. After that I implemented it together with Anya's house map. The next step then was to set up positions for Anya and also make new sprites for her.
I've then worked on new enemies (sprites, battlers, skills) and also on skills for the MC that he will be able to learn from Corven.

Hey everyone,

I hope you all had a good start into the new week! The pre poll just ended and we had a tie between Gavina & Athia. Because of that I took another look at both options and decided to go with Gavina this time. Reason behind that: She needs some additional content but more important to me: I finally want to continue my work on the dream mechanic so that we can get a replay function for scenes that became unavailable because of progressed story.

Frisha's bonus scene and the next steps

Over the past days I've been working on Frisha's bonus scene. 6 new animations for her and the plan to update her current dialogue during the scene with her. By thinking about it I also came to the conclusion that this would be a good time to add an alternative way for the MC to take her virginity. Good morning!

As expected this took me until the early morning hours, I'm still very happy to have completed it now.

Time for a quick changelog:

• 11 new animations for Ophilia, you can continue her quest by a few more steps (it is currently not possible to complete it since that requires either the implementation of Kirlic or more steps on Arianna's quest)

Good afternoon,

I will keep this one short as the goal is to get 0.4.9.0 done today.

Over the past week I've been working on 11 new animations for Ophilia & 1 for Frisha/Giron (rework of their already exisiting animation) and of course their implementation + dialogue for them.
I'm still in the middle of writing and I expect it will take until tonight before everything is done and I can finally begin with the tests.

this week went by so quickly...it really surprised me yesterday when I realized it's almost over again.
So what have I done over the past week? The 0.4.8.5 was finally at a point where I could release it early this morning. I've added 4 animations and had to rewrite a lot of my original dialogue during the tests because it just wasn't coherent enough for my taste.

Ophilia's new positions also caused some trouble since some of them were set by entering the inn ...

Getting started with Ophilia

A new month, new goals

Good afternoon,

I was really happy when the release yesterday was finally completed. As I have written in the release post already it wasn't easy for me to just finish it. There were so many things I still wanted to add (for example more action for the bathroom scene) but in the end I focussed on the things that I already had prepared and came finally to a conclusion of the quest.

Now with that content done I can finally look forward to the content for this month.

Release 0.4.8.0 + Hotfix

The past week hasn't been easy for me. I wanted to get this update done last Friday, then Monday...then Tuesday... There was always still something missing or something not working.
And almost every day I came up with other small ideas that MUST be added...yeah of course you can't get the update finished if you work like that.
But it's really difficult to stop myself once I have an idea that I want to add to the game.

Also this isn't the final version and more of something to testplay.

This week I've been mostly working on a lot of sprites and animations for the game.
The maps for the basement and 1st floor of the MC's house were finished last Friday, but instead of drawing finished maps I wanted to make a lot of objects that could then be added to the maps later on. I also made new character sprites for Athia and other characters.

After the renovation is done

Good morning,

since the bonus scene was completed on Tuesday I've continued my work on the MC's house. I tried out what could be done for the bathroom and for now came up with what you can see in the image in the title. I'm currently working on new maps for the basement and 1st floor.

My goal is to get the 0.4.8.0 update done on Friday next week. The focus is to get the house into a more useable state for the MC. I will also add more content for Athia, but I'm currently not sure ...

this was supposed to be noon...But again with all the writing and tests... It's always the same. I really have to get better with calculating the time that it takes to get these things done.

A new month and a lot to do

After the 0.4.7.6 update was done monday late night the next thing on my to do list was and still is the Verena & Claire's bonus scene.
But this is going to be a bit more than just the usual bonus scene as the picture above already reveals. In Verena's last update I had already plans to give her new clothes. Status of update 0.4.7.6

Good evening,

today I've been in about the same situation as last Friday.
There is still a lot to do to get the update up to the point where I want it to be and the time is again running through my hands like sand.
To give you a short overview over what I did this week:
On Monday I tried to further compress the images of the game. As some of you know all images of the game are already compressed (the original folder size of the image folder is currently at 8.7GB ~16500 images)....

Gotten a bit late again,

I had thought about writing this report early this morning, but then decided against it.
The reason behind that was of course the 0.4.7.5 release.
