Manners + work process

I used a sculpt I quickly wipped together in zbrush as a base to paint over! Ive done this before for other folk's coms and finally did it for a piece for myself, had a lot of fun with it too!!!

I was hesitating on posting on here cause I wanted to slam dunk lore stuff with it too but itll have to be a whole other illustration to go into detail what the lil pins in Neo's arms are n what not, Ill have all that good juicy stuff for lizard + crew!!

New limits

 I had an incredibly deep moment this evening with a friend of mine. It inspired me to hunker down this morning and just... blast this out. So much is happening all at once, in our lives and this piece, and I kind of wanted to capture that.  Things are tough, but once everything cools and the fires are put out we'll get to learn and grow from everything.

Model WIP + Update!!

Heya folks! Here's the basic color that Ive managed to get plastered onto the model for tonight after wrestling with issues within substance painter orz
Im hoping to be able to get back to this soon, and with that I have a small lil update about things happening!!

Starting today I will be working under contract for the next two months on a lil project in the works! I won't be able to post as often but I will still be in the discord server always!!

Initial hair test and hair placement

Im finally getting to adding hair and its always been very tricky for me when it comes to making hair in 3d!!
Im happy to say treating 3d objects like a dimensional hair card is turning out to be a neat trick and an easy way to give the hair some depth and breaking up a toony style!
Ill be adding in bits of hair cards here and there to further add to the effect but before I do Ill place more hair on her neck, her tail, and the tufts on her elbows before beginning to really actually te...
