Taking Extra Time

I may have picked some deceptively overly complicated ideas to work on this month...

Or I am just being over-critical. Either way I am not satisfied with any of the projects enough to rush them out to post tonight. Going to cook things a bit longer.  Expect this to be one of those months that is back-loaded.

Lazy WIP Week And Theme Cheating

I was going to wait until the last minute to post WIP this week because of how distracted I have been all week: but the deal was that the updates are updates on my progress. I forgot that. As threatened: Making Gilly her size at the beginning of Pride of Ophean - don't worry you will see her in bigger sizes when I resume Village Secret.

It also occurred to me that I could get away with the fanart I really want to draw right now this week because Naga herself is a princess so I am total...

Something that originally just started from wanting to work on some more active poses and alternate shapes. I need to follow this up with the inevitable six boob pileup sometime.

WIP Princesses All the Way Down

In kind of the same way that last month's illustration prompt became Oops all Goths, this month took shape as Oops all Princesses. The top doodle is working on figuring out  Gilly's design from Pride of Ophean (after the sash and before the sash, respectively). Some of you may already know that I plan on making her a character in the follow up of the Village Secret comic pages. Also continuing the jogging boobs picture idea.

September is a Month

Seeing as I didn't get a Too Many Cooks page out last month and instead went with a ton of sketches and pinups; I might focus on trying to get a couple out for that this month. I don't have a lot of single page comic ideas - There are a few short stories I could work on and a lot of them have a lot of progress done on the scripts.

Got three sketches to work on for illustrations already though. We will see where the winds take us this month in terms of other ideas. Last month I wanted to...

It took me way too long to come up with a layout for the patroll poll winner than its should have! But I really llike this direction, also enjoy one of my warm up gestures that Im going to work on it as another extra illustration pinup. Both of them should be finished Monday (as well as posting the art dump for the month).

Twitter shenanigans.

The plan was for Friday posts to be WIP posts, but putting up things from twitter Friday morning and doing the WIP post later in the evening has been working well for me so I'll probably continue that when I have twitterdoodles to share. Either way the two updates a week schedule is working well.

Takane Doodle

Warm up doodle of Chet Rippo's buff, busty, tomboy.

The anatomy is honestly kind of rushed and bad - I haven't spent as much time on my anatomy studies as I should and it shows here. BUT this kind of stuff is good practice.

Something a little different for today's WIP post: assisting someone with some graphic design concepts, which is worth showing some intermediate design ideas I am currently working with while I work out some logo designs.

The Jaslyn growth spurt is from my work list but the others are just sort of transplanting characters from current projects over gestures. Even Ove One Hundred is getting a pinup this month already I guess. Too Many Cook is in kind of the very talky bits so I want to have some nice fanservice to spam at you all while you wait for the smish. The elf boobwall has a bunch of picture ideas I want to draw in preparation for her comic later on.

WIP Organizing Chaos

Coming up with illustration ideas before getting started on the comic pages. I want to go back to some old stuff on the list that hasn't been done, as well as revisiting some old abandoned WIPs that I think I want to retry and put together.

Basically I'm going to catch up on that worklist some this month.

Top girl is a design for that Atlas story prompt. The short comic this month will probably be a two parter (four pages? maybe more) that is mostly written but I may just do ...

August is a Month

Last month I started making the posts on a regular schedule: finished work on Mondays, work in progress on Fridays. For the time being I want to try for two comic pages per month: one from Too Many Cooks and the other from whatever other comic I happen to be working on. Along with the patreon poll and whatever stuff from the worklist or personal stuff I happen to finish along the way.

Boring update today!

Quite a bit! Schedule worked really well - got a lot done without getting stressed out.

That said: three comics, and a good amount of illustrations and sketchbook makes this a chunky download.

Just need to shade and light the background on the patreon poll illustration; comic will be main focus this weekend for Monday since that shouldn't take too long.

I haven't really done a full background in a while so figured I should shake some rust off while I had the chance.

Magicadabra

While I was waiting to make sure on what would win the poll I wanted to make sure I had some kind of finished illustration (that I could do for fun) to post today. So I made fanart of Magicadabra from Raven's Dojo. I'm...I'm not even going to try and explain the context here - just go read it please.

I may have gotten some of her colors wrong - nearly all of her art is in black and white.

WIP Fanart and Patreon Illustrations

I just really want to draw Magicadabra from Raven's Dojo is all. 

I was watching to see which of the two dominants in the poll would pull ahead in the end and it LOOKS like Judy and Liz so I started some drafts on that, but it could still go either way. I'm tinkering a bit with the poses to give it more interaction. I have no idea who the downward dog is, I'm just still tinkering with posing and that came out.
