WIP Fray's Beach Body

Progress. The entire comic is about 5 pages I think and I kinda jumped to working on the last page first just so I had a point of reference. Hoping to have the inks completely done early next week.

That last page with the Big Fray has some problems with anatomy that I need to redraw but this one is coming together pretty quickly and I got faith I can get it done pretty easily.

May is a Month (I'm Back)

Normal updates continue starting today! Which means streams resume also.

I'm going to try and pick back up where I left off in terms of my list and comics. Though there might be some hiccups as I relearn how to draw after the break. Lots of rust to shake off. Streams are going to be at the normal time (1pm PST) but the first week is going to be just work and practice streams. I won't be resuming sketch commissions until sometime next week..maybe.

The End Of Break Shadowlark Archive

Along with the new design work from the last few months there is also a zip of all the old Shadowlark stuff I could find from digging around. Some from site archives, a lot ripped from my old Deviantart accounts, some from what old archives I have. Making this also useful for me to personally cringe at and keep on record.

Also: this officially marks me back from break. Update on the first of the month to talk about how everything went but - I'm feeling better.

April is a Month (Not so Much)

So I guess Im going to be taking a break for my birthday this year. Just. Basically the whole month.

No streams or coms, updates will be light and whatever personal projects I tinker with while I focus on health.

I'll be back fully in May.

March Artdump and Reminder

Reminder that I am going to be on break next month: so I will only be posting maybe some sketches or personal projects or Shadowlark stuff. No commissions or streams for April. I'll be back in May but next month is going to be very light activity for health reasons. Like I said before: you may want to pause subscription if random shadowlark doodles are not your thing and want to wait until I am back to working on sketch streams and comics.

I got sent home from the dentist because my blood pressure is 165/115. There are going to be no more sketch commission streams for a while and I am taking April off. Technical Issues Week

I mentioned it on twitter but I am having some problems with my internet connection right now and its getting in the way of streaming and uploading stuff a bit. It's not a problem with my computer so Im still able to get work done, just making some communication stuff annoying.

More Slime Barria fun. While I usually stick to green and gray in her pallet in her human form as a reference to slime- In her goo girl form I like to pick more colorful pallet. Plus it fits the slug/bunny/goo thing more to have nice bright colors.

I took the break to recharge by drawing some gifts and fanart as  stress free drawings.  Lots of familiar faces. It was nice to pick who to draw myself for a bit but we are going back to streams tomorrow fully recharged!

March is a Month (Sorry February)

So I screwed up on February: personal issues aside the fact that I gave myself a bunch of projects to work on basically led to me struggling and not getting any of them finished. Lesson learned: back o focusing on one project at a time and just making sure to hit those sketch commission streams.

February Art Dump

Ok so. I had three pieces I wanted to do this month that are kind of traditions: a Meushi piece, a Tower (New Years) piece, and a Goblin Boobfort. All of them are kind of traditions. But trying to start all three from scratch while planning for the comic project starting next month and I blew a fuse. Basically I reenacted what caused me to burn out from doing the patron polls and larger coms: trying to cram out too many large ideas at the same time instead of focusing on one thing at a time. ...

Health issues and time management: I might not be able to finish this stuff until next month - I think I had a problem of trying too many projects at once and them all getting stuck in the door like a comedy sketch. There are a bunch of sketches at least this month and Ill at least post sketch versions up with the art dump, just not super polished or colored/inked.

Roah and Raid Boss

Doing some design work to try and get past the brain lock Im having with the pareon illustrations I decided to work on some other design concepts/cahracter.

Working on finalizing the base look for Roahbrett (largely inspired by her SF6 look combined with her FFXIV look).

I'm still having problems figuring out my ideas for Meushi/Tower/and the Goblin fort. Sorry those are taking all month. I might just go with simple pinups if nothing else comes together for them this month: I'm trying not to beat myself up about them not being posted on Valentines / Lunar New Year but I figure as long as I get them done for February its fine.

WIP Nyx and List

I know everyone is excited about Goblin Boobfort Dragon but I also wanted to work on stuff for the next comics and one of the items from the old list. At least make some progress on design for them. Also bonus feature of a goofy doodle I did of Franktonious' grandma who has sighted someone who needs their cheeks pinched.

The first image is sort of a final direction for Nyx's "villain costume".
