Last night a minor knocked on my door with no shoes on, in distress-
Last night at around 11pm we heard a knock on our door and when we opened it, there was a 15 year old girl, no shoes, no jacket, bawling her eyes out. I quickly rushed her in my house and closed the door. She said her dad was drunk and she was scared so she ran out because she said she was worried her dad would hurt her. Keep in mind it’s still cold here in Canada. I called 911 and helped her contact her boyfriend and his mom. The 911 operator said that I can’t stop her from leaving obvio...

It’s been a long day…
Being shat on all day for wanting to lower the suicide rate has been draining. I’m so angry. I don’t know why I can’t convince women that this is something that we should care about. It’s heartbreaking how angry they get and how quick they are to dismiss it
