Kincaid Build 2020.02 Hawtfix

This hawtfix should hopefully address most of the issues you guys found with the recent release! ^w^

There are still more bugs left to be fixed. I will either put out a second hotfix down the road or roll them into the next full release.

Weekly Roundup - Week 6 - Get that bubble butt up there~

While Null is playtesting and squashing bugs I decided to throw in another new animation for the game: Ladders.

Originally we wanted to use placeholder jump-thru platforms but since I finished the background art (including a whole new parallax background for the jungle!) ahead of schedule, I thought I'd just get started on this. It's a good excuse to draw some nicely shaped pixel butt! ^w^

Weekly Roundup - Week 5 - Testing and Polishing

Weekly Roundup - Week 3 - More jungle progress!

Hi everyone!

I'm still knee deep into building out the new starting area. I have decided on a final map layout, blocked out all the rooms and connected them and now I'm doing a lot of playtesting and decorating the rooms I am happy with!

The old starting area was just a handful of rooms before you got to enter the jungle. The new area is much bigger and comparable to the temple itself, in size!

Weekly Roundup - Week 51 - Revisiting the kobolds!

With the wolf out of the door I moved my focus back to the jungle areas - and the kobolds!

As I mentioned in an earlier post, the next game system we want to tackle is the dialogue system, and NPCs.

Deep within the jungle Kincaid is going to find a friendly kobold village!

Weekly Roundup - Week 47 - Fire Exclamation mark Fire Exclamation mark

The wolf is going to have a ranged attack, too. He will howl and summon a ring of flames that will follow him around, ready to be hauled at Kincaid!

Weekly Roundup - Week 41 - Playful Puppy

Due to a stupid mistake on my part I lost a lot of progress this week. -_- Luckily I streamed most of the stuff I lost, so I can at least watch my own recordings and cross-reference what I did.

But so far I am liking all of them and might either make wolf variations with different movement patterns, or make him a more difficult to fight enemy with a more complex behavior pattern.
