Stuck

Another slightly more rough doodle for this week. Started out as a commission draft that I decided to scrap, just changed the chars to this old couple that I haven't really doodled anymore in quite a while. More clean pics ahead hopefully now that commissions are over, plus more patreon exclusive stuff next month again~

More lion noms~

Something must have made Zazu think that the old king is better off being nommed, maybe they're having some kinda deal going on~ Actually started out as a quick resketch of the old scene in the movie where Scar tries to eat Zazu, but then I changed it up a little for a bit of a macro feel to the pic~

Monster's Lunch - Colored

There we go, big huge dragon maw. Actually really happy with how this one turned out, the tongue looks super soft and shiny and the whole process was really, really fast for what I'm used to. Also experimented with drool a little, got some slightly darker strands from teeth to teeth but also a thin, bright layer covering the entire tongue, which doesn't look too exaggerated but gives it just a tiny bit of moisture. All in all, very fun piece~

Got rid of the BG here and just focused on the huge maw. Which is even bigger now cause look who's gonna end up hugging that tongue~

Early draft of what I wanted to color for this month. I ended up removing the background because a) I wanted something in the sky afterwards and b) I'm not coloring all that xd and also c) I wanted the focus to be entirely on the huge maw.

Barely Worth Swallowing

Worked with some actual lion photographs this time and added a bit of my own style. Kinda ended up looking very lion king-esque though xd Maybe that's just the kinda... Mufasa-style mane giving it that feel.

Now Snow has a big lion mouf for himself. Of course he might just get out if he wanted to, no questions asked, he's the woofgod after all~

Originally planned this as a YCH for next month, BUT now there's a chance next month will be more Schwarzpelz focused so I can actually get a few more pages done, been a while since the last.

So since I don't have anything else during this commission phase, here you got at the very least a preview / sneak peek, and I might turn it into a YCH later in february or march.

Maximum Squeezing

Y'all ever noticed how Stitch has 4 big paws to queeze people with? So here we go, maximum squeeze power for the little alien. Always been enjoying this kinda scenario a lot, and working with 4 paws together and having them all interact was pretty fun to try out.

Chin Scratchies

Old doodle that I finally decided to give some life with a proper background. For some reason I have issues drawing Goma's original anatomy x3 Like I keep making his legs more dog-like as opposed to the seal-like design he usually has. Which does work alright as long he's just sitting or lying down, but would look weird if he actually stood up x3

City Bath - Step By Step

Been a while since I did one of these, but I figured some of you might be interested in this kinda stuff. Divided the whole process into more steps and added a tiny bit of explanation to each so it is at least a litlte more clear what's happening.

Note that my actual drawing process is not really this organized. It's merely... roughly what I have in my head, but I'll occassionally jump between steps. So for example, part of the lighting is done a bit earlier, which in turn makes me adju...

City Bath

Had absolutely no plans to color this, but you guys liked the black-white version a lot, so I decided to slap some colors onto it~ Also polished  a big part of the linework to make it a lot smoother and now it's really crisp. 

I like how the colors turned out, lately I've been a big fan of going for orange warm evening skies instead of just the usual blue ones, gives the pic a cozy relaxed feel, despite what's going on in the city xd

Misstep

That'll happen from time to time, better get used to it~ And at least little trainer didn't get squished.

Usually I'm not even drawing that much paw-stuff, but lately it's been fun~ Also doodling the little villages and cities has been quite fun. Really hated doing it when I starte drawing, but now it just come so naturally and makes the big fluffers so much more real than just having them float in the void, gives them some more weight and all.

Infernape Sketch Sheet

Tiny little sketch sheet this time. Couldn't really decide on anything to finishing, so this time I just felt like doing a few rough sketches and just polish them a little bit.

Was fun playing around with this kinda... primate anatomy, but I don't think I'm very good with it x3 I'm a little better with just making stuff beeg~ and sometimes hungry.

City Bath

This one was fun to doodle, took all night to get done but the city was fun to design as well as the big mouf~

Multiple heads count as multiple snacks, everyone knows that~ They say it gets more complicated if you start counting calories, but it doesn't look like he's on a diet either way~

Fun piece, been a while since I just focused on a huge throat bulge, and that's one of the best parts of nomming~ Wanted to do some stuff with the Akamaru-Kiba fusion as a pred before, maybe we'll actually get that at some point xd

Had this one lying around for a while actually but never knew what to do with it, soooo here it is for now. Will have another colored pic ready at some point later this month as well.

Maybe I'll do some more Saaanic characters, their proportions are interesting to play with and the designs are overall really nice. It's just always been a problem that I know only very little about their universe xd Gotta read up on that.

Vanished Over Night

Quick sketchy doodle of some Gomamaw and someone disappearing inside it, can't quite tell the name, some say he never existed to begin with, after all noone saw it happening.

Gotta say I still like the old sketchy looking pics, they're just very relaxing to draw when you can just be rough with the lines and not care a whole lot about everything being smooth.

Ambushed

Tried out some Treeboi this time~

Worked out better than I thought. Not that the design is difficult or anything, he's just in that... chibi-range that I'm a bit uncomfortable with xd But I'm still learning, and it still looks alright~

Also don't ask how that ambush worked. Some say they should have seen or heard him coming from a mile away, but those Treebois are sneaky predators... and they WILL get you <-< ....

Book Evening

Some more of Nanachi, with a sneaky focus on those cute big paws, as if you were walking around them while she reads in the moonlight.

Thing is I'd like to doodle a lot more stuff with her, but I fell like I wanna have it just be tame, cute and wholesome more than anything else, and this one's really cozy I think. ...Plus paws <-<

Spent a bit more time with this one as well~ Didn't even want to, like it was just supposed to be sketchy looking without greyscales at all... and then it just kinda happened <-<;

Will have more sketchlike stuff coming up, though. Can't sink that much time into all of the pics, also don't want to xd

Becoming One

Always wanted to do more with Doggomonster and Claire than just the couple quick sketches a while back, and now I have time for such stuff again, yay~

Was really a lot of fun going a bit more all out on a piece again, just spending most of the day drawing in peace and quiet in the new place, after most of the rennovation is finally done.

Garudamon - Colored

Aaaand it's done. This was a really fun pic to color, especially since now that I know a bit more about SAI itself, the whole process was a tad more organized and more fluid so to say.  The sky's like the best part, even though it was the easiest to do xd Love how it goes from orange to red, reflecting big birb's natural colors pretty well.

Went back to the oldschool papery sketch look for this one, just for fun~ 

Biyo found herself  a floofy butt to pin her down. Now while Gao seems to have noticed her.. maybe he'll just pretend he didn't see anything for the rest of the evening. Managed to finish the whole thing! So while the completed, colored version will be posted for the next tier, you guys can at least view the clean lines since the last sketch was just really messy xd

There's also a little side version with the plane attached, couldn't decide which one to keep for the final version xd

Snake God

Tried one with a very different art style this time around. Just gotta explore new concepts and stuff from time to time.

And while it was fun to do, I don't think it fits me very well xd I'd rather given the snake the thick linework I'm used to and more saturation to the background, buuuut at least I tried. 

Also there may or may not be something of equal size inside there... .-.
