Bite-Sized Buddies

This one actually got polished quite a bit, good chance I'll throw in some colors at some point. And yeah, finally got around to trying some Gomaboi. Honestly pretty smooth drawing experience, like usually completely new faces throw me off a bit, but it just worked out really well~

Usually not the biggest fan of using multiple little micros in scenes like this, so originally only wanted to have Agu on his paw, but also really wanted to have someone in his maw as well xd

Buttsquished

Had a bit of a Stitch-inspired week this time and actually got to color two little pics. The other one will go to FA at some point, but I'll post the full resolution version over here as well. Was fun to go for this kind of background again, doesn't take tooo long and looks quite... full and finished, just gotta polish it a bit more over time.

Dragonite Sketch Sheet

Couple little dragondude sketches.

Not only did I not manage to capture the guy's friendly, kind character at all, but also made him the most mischievous, voracious macro I could have ever pulled off xd ...Seems fine to me~

Again, it's a very nice, relaxing feeling to just go for a few quick sketches without having to worry about completely finishing any of them, so.. you can just doodle whatever comes to mind and not worry too much about the rest.

Eevee Sketch Sheet

Doodled as the char. suggestion of the week.

Was a bit reluctant here cause Eev falls in that weird category that is "too chibi" for me to understand, like my brain wants to make it so much more fleshed out, with a bit more... normal anatomy and all that stuff, so I just implemented that stuff and then it worked out better.

Also that city shot felt amazing to doodle, the view just kinda... worked out. Not perfect, but feels pretty realistic. Also love how she's just waiting for pe...

A Brat's Wishes

This was a lot of fun to put together, even though the village took a while xd

Here we have Schwarzi doing what he's doing best, having to babysit Celia all day long and keeping up with ridiculous demands. Though he'd much rather just swallow and be done with this year-long quest that her father sent him on.

Was thinking of drawing Celia non-Chibi, but this just fits her.. childishness too well. A tiny floofball commanding the lord of the area~

Back From My Break

Toy Trainer

More of a color test from one of the couple 'Cario sketches that you guys actually didn't get to see yet. Wanted to get from the raw sketch to the colors without having to ink everything and I like the result, though I put less emphasis on the city cause I didn't want it to distract from the characters.

At some point I gotta make the dude with his giant poke-team a real character~

Very fun, relaxing sketch. Was supposed to be something 'Cario focused since that was a suggestion for this week, but I like Abi in the background way more~ He's just so confused that the whole town is scared of him. Who knew that someone might actually react that way...

Turns out macro sized chests are indeed rather heavy and would probably squeeze you more than you'd want. Damn you, reallife logic!

Think I'm just sticking with the grown up version of Gato for now, mostly since the anatomy is easier for me to draw xd Can't quite nail the "just a tiny bit younger" version very well.

Up In The Mountains

Been a while since I doodled Gato and her lil man~ Actually wanted a couple little sketches but ended up liking this one enough to polish more. Got a new drawing schedule that's actually working out really well so far, so I'm able to be rather productive at the moment. Plus since the Schwarzpelz chapter ended I finally have a looot of time to just go for random sketches without any other worries xd

Gabu Sketch Sheet

Took a bit to get used to his design, that's for sure xd But I'm slowing getting there. They made a mistake in the original design, though. He just turned out way too small, can't have that, needs to be a couple meters bigger, or a couple hundred.

Safekeeping

Started out as a random mawshot but turned into a character design that I might keep for an actual character, either just for macro pictures or she might even fit into Schwarzpelz somewhere. 

I imagine her to be very motherly at handling small ones, she does kinda have a... mature, ripe look to her, as opposed to like Jamie who's rather young, cool and a bit more playful. Who knows, maybe we'll see some more of her in the future.

Quick doodle between Schwarzi pages.

Still very much into shipping those two, and having Gao be the bigger one again. Polished it a bit more than planned, and will probably leave it at that, no colors or anything. Right now I feel more like... not trying to finish stuff to the point where I get paranoid about how it looks, and just take the sketches for how they turn out and move on to something else.

Fairy Snack

More of a quick sketch, took me about 90 minutes I'd say.

I'm usually not the kinda guy to go for real quick pictures, usually when I like something I wanna finish it as much as possible, especially when I go for colors. But I also wanna learn to draw faster and get the important parts done quicker before getting paranoid about tons of shading and lighting xd So maybe I can do sketches like this a bit more in the future without feeling forced to completely finish every single one of the...

Fairy Encounter

This has been more of a Midna-Weekend again xd

Despite the stupidly complicated helmet, she's quite a lot of fun to draw, especially now that I've started properly learning how to doodle faces with real face mapping and a bit of the female body as well, so the sketching is way faster and less exhausting. Also gave Navi more of a fairy-like appearance with an actual body, cause why not xd

Actually watched yugioh abridged for the first time and was reminded how much I always liked most of the show's dragon designs, but especially Timaeus for some reason, so I wanted to get a nice mawshot of him done, and just anything in front of it xd

The Sea Empress

I went ahead and accidently overwrote the Full Res version of this because I'm stupid xd Happens sometimes while scaling down the pics.. which is really dumb in this case cause the bigger version made her appear just that much larger, buuut oh well.

Also I imagine the other ones around her are already macro-sized and only the one at the shore is normal xd

Terri getting some revenge for being eaten whole~

Must say this is a very fun character to draw, I always enjoy a simple yet distinct and creative design, plus the huge long ears look like a fun way to get squished xd Just changed the paws to match my own style since the original ones looked really weird in testing xd

Expect a tiny bit more sketches than usual in the next time. As I said on FA, this month I'll concentrate on content for patreon a bit more.
