in the bottom, the character, lets call him Red, for now, has had this recurring problem of his hair being a pain to draw. I can never consistently nail it. and here we have one good (the left) and one bad (the right).

You'll also notice the above one i cut off. I did that, because the sketch above is a reference redraw, which i am not sure if I should post. Now of course, all artists can tell you, using references it quite common, and helpful, but I am still not sure. I dunno, what do you think?

Blue Sketch 1

so, here is a blue sketch of the day. what's a blue sketch? well, if you see those day markers? I do a doodle a day for every day of the year. and, given how i go about sketching, I only really go over these sketches twice, once, a rough red sketch, then a more detailed blue sketch. 

Hence, I call these, Blue sketches!

For these two, it was a me messing around with outfits for two of my characters.
