Well, it's finally here. I held the poll to find out the next battle analysis a month ago and I'm so glad to be able to get this out to cap off the month of July!
The Schutzstaffel battles were all pretty spectacular, but this one is something else. It's the longest fight of the four, and in my opinion, the most intimate. And is the controversial ending really as bad as people say it is?

It's that time of the month again where we dive into one of the squads of the Gotei 13! This month, we're taking a look at the enigmatic 7th Division, led by Sajin Komamura and Tetsuzaemon Iba!
Perhaps not the most popular division in the series, the 7th Division has always felt like something of an outlier in more ways than one, and the characters that make up its ranks never quite got the spotlight they deserved.

In their most desperate hour, Kisuke Urahara shows up to rescue the captains in their battle against the Sternritter! He comes with an unorthodox plan in hand - to restore the stolen Bankai by temporarily Hollowfying the captains!
This is such an awesome plot development and one I found both really satisfying and quite exciting. It's an underrated moment, and the captains allowing themselves to be temporarily infected with Hollow reiatsu is so cool.

Man, I really didn't know how to title this one (I'm still not sure), but we've heard from Kubo himself that we can expect new scenes and fights in the TYBW anime! This is really exciting - but what can we hope to see done differently?

We're back with another deep-dive into a Bankai, this time looking at the topsy-turvy world of Shinji Hirako's Bankai, Sakashima Yokoshima Happo Fusagari!

This is a bit of an unusual one for me, but Kubo's recent Q&A seems to hint at the possible existence of a new Bleach game for consoles!

I figured it was about time to introduce some real Bankai theories to the channel, because we haven't really done that yet at all. There were a lot of Bankai we just didn't get to see in the manga, and so it's up to us to speculate what they might've been!
The first character we're looking at is Ukitake - someone who really deserved better in the story. I've got a few ideas for what his Bankai was, and I present them here - so I hope you enjoy!

We're getting close to the end of May, but I managed to get in the latest iteration of our The Gotei 13 series! This time we're looking at the 5th Division, home of Bleach's most famous villain - Aizen!
This is a really cool squad, from Aizen's machinations, to Shinji's resurgence into Soul Society life. The characters involved all have really strong relationships, many of which are highly fleshed out, so this was fun to discuss.

It's been a while since we talked about one of my absolute favourite characters - Kyoraku! I wasn't really sure where to go when discussing him, so I figured I'd take an overall look at his character in the Thousand-Year Blood War.

It's been a little while since we've done such a long video, but there's a surprising amount going on in this fight. As I promised, the next battle analysis is diving into Kenpachi vs Gremmy, and this was a fun one!
Gremmy is a super weird character and a really interesting opponent for Kenpachi to face. And of course, this fight gives us Kenpachi's long-awaited Shikai reveal!

Our forgotten characters series returns with a highly requested look at Kukaku Shiba! The current head of the fallen Shiba household is a fascinating character who barely gets involved in the Bleach storyline at all.
Looking back at Kukaku proved very interesting for me - I couldn't believe how little she was actually in the series.

Even now, despite everything surrounding the result of this moment, the sequence of chapters surrounding Byakuya's defeat in the first Quincy invasion are some of the absolute best in all of Bleach.
In this video, I want to look specifically at those chapters and how this prideful captain, this symbol of Soul Society, was so soundly defeated and why - despite his survival - it remains so captivating and so effective a move by Kubo.
