Finally finished my most recent commission. Posting up here as early access for you guys, before it goes to my other blogs.
This was a lot of fun to draw, really trying to get perspective and lighting more accurate than I usually do. I think it helped capture the atmosphere well here.

It's Monday, folks, which means it's time for another peek at what I'm working on right now. This week I'm hoping to finish off this commission. I've completed the pencil version (above) and next will be the finished line work and shading.

So the original of this pic (which I'll post separately) was a collaboration between me and BiggerArtDude on twitter, where I did the line work and he did the coloring in his style - and it came out super awesome.
I just wanted to see how it would look when colored/shaded in my own style, and also it was a good excuse for me to play around with some different brushes that I wouldn't normally use. Above is the end result, which I'm pretty happy with!

Recent portrait of one of my all-time favorite bears, FatCigarDad. I've been a fan of his for years, and had the good fortune to get in touch with him and draw him. Not only is he super duper hot, he's also a real nice guy.
I think I'd like to draw more cigar-smoking dad types in the future.

Mondays mean another sneak peek at Max & Roy. Even in a formal buttoned shirt Roy can't hide his enormous muscles, but something seems to be getting him down...
Another one from my archives. Again, loooong before Lokitu was a thing, and before I had a style of my own. This and the last sketch were probably two of the earliest gainer drawings I ever made, many years back.

It's Monday. That means it's time for another sneak peek. This is later on in Max & Roy's story. As you can see, I'm still working on it. I like to rough out the layout very sketchily first, then draw the line work over that. I'm using a thinner line than usual for Max & Roy because I wanted to settle on a style that would be quicker for me to finish, without losing quality, and still keep it in my style as much as possible.
