The artist has new commitments and has opted to drop out as the series illustrator. Therefore, I am taking this opportunity to end the series.
In place of it, I have a far better series that I believe you'll all love.

Hi! I'm happy to show you all, what will be the cover art for ACT 2 of Goals & Checkpoints. ACT 1 is drawing to a close, and now that we established much of the main cast, we'll begin approaching the story more aggressively, and move it forward even more.
Much of ACT 1 centered around a single day of school for Rei and his friends, and with the stage now set, we can begin hitting some major story points.

Of all the staff and teachers, SNT was able to realize that Rei was a boy. Was it the hit to the head? Does SNT have powers of perception? Or just dumb luck? SNT will very much be playing the comedic adult role. How things will play out between Rei and SNT, remains to be seen. =3

Not much dialogue in this page, but I think it speaks for itself!
In these moments, Rei is just Rei with all of his friends, having fun and being accepted. The last panel, I find is very symbolic of where Rei truly wishes to be.

This is a great panel!
I wanted to explore how Rei felt wearing the girls sports uniform, since he has never really worn something that tight. Commenting on how it's "softer" and how he likes that, is a really cute thing, IMO.
But then we have little Milky, where she is taken by surprise, stumbling over her words a bit at the sight of Rei. Is Milky seeing Rei as a girl for the first time, or...?

Goals & Checkpoints PG09~! NEW FORMAT!?
Toon Fawn and myself decided to ditch the old panel format and try a more traditional approach, so you'll now get more content per update, but about 2 of these a month.
We'll see how it works out for now!
Meanwhile, we have Mako The Fox, joining our story, courtesy of @shibespices on twitter. A popular community artist, they have graciously allowed Makoto to be featured as Rei's only male friend from childhood.

Rei is having some internal drama, as he struggles with what just happened. It was simple enough, but Rei was just flirted with by another boy. Finally, Rei has questioned what he is doing, dressing as a girl. Rei's racing heart... his blushing face. There are a lot of emotions at play here.
That aside, it's found out, that Jun was a bully that made fun of his girlish appearance during elementary school. I wonder where this will lead?

Yikes! Milky is protective, isn't she? Rei seems to be a bit shook up and very distraught over it all, but for what reasons? Even though Rei didn't ask for it, he just experienced what many girls deal with... boys flirting with hem. Even if Jun had no ill intent, he was a bit forward, with holding Rei's hands and getting so close. But this experience will be the first of many, that will shape who Rei will become in this on-going story.

Jun the kitten is someone from Rei's elementary school days, and their relationship from that time will be revealed soon. Either way, Rei doesn't know what to do... He can't seem to break away, but why? Is it confusion, nervousness, or something more?
