Millie is getting increasingly fed-up with what's going on Loona. She's probably thinking to herself "after all that happened yesterday, now she's back to bullying my husband?"

I'm sure a reader might think to themselves, "Loona! Just communicate your feelings!" But realistically, Loona would struggle with such a thing. But she's actively trying.

BLITZO: I JUST bought this one with the money you owed me!

P3: Millie suddenly glares up at the camera.

BLITZO (off-panel): The third one's coming out of your paycheck!

A little blush on Loona, because I think the idea of her working as a unit with Moxxie and Millie gets her excited. She's probably thinking to herself that she can prove she's on the same wavelength as them. She even picked out Moxxie's favorite rifle.

Of course, a callback to episode 1. It's been 0 days since Moxxie shot a fishtank.

The whole point of this moment is to kind of show how the trio still aren't quite on the same page as each other. Moxxie doesn't react as quickly as Loona thought he would, and Loona threw harder than Moxxie could handle.

It's all a process.

P2: Moxxie is shoved to the ground from the weight of the gun. The gun goes off.

MOXXIE: Ooof!

SFX: BLAM!

P3: The bullet ricochets off several walls...

P4: ...and shoots through the new aquarium.

When I first started drawing Blitzo, with a slightly more normal head shape and more anime-ish eyes, I got a number of comments about how creepy and unsettling he looked. Therefore, out of all the characters, he's the one that most looks like his original design. It's just a weird-ass head shape that's hard to morph without making it look horrible.

But it's also a little jarring, as now the other characters, especially Loona and Millie, look a little out of place next to Blitzo and Moxx...

I thought about looking up a real rifle and going full detail on it, but a) that would've driven me insane and b) the show's depiction of guns are woefully simplistic. I figured a middle-ground was good enough.

P2: Loona approaches with an armful of guns, pretending to act nonchalant.

LOONA: I've got your shit already.

P3: Blitzo gets too familiar and cozies up to Loona.

BLITZO: That's the spirit, Loony! Does that mean you're joining us today?

LOONA: I just feel like stretching my legs, so...

Okay, full admission... I have absolutely no understanding of the IMP office layout. I thought the bathroom was in their office, but after looking up projected maps, there's no space for it. So I guess maybe the bathroom is out in the floor's hallway?

Which completely messes up my mapping in the first issue. There's a scene where Loona is staring out a large window, but as far as I could tell, that window only exists in the meeting room, not in the lobby. So I messed up there again.

Unfortunately, we've totally caught up to my script for Helluva Trio 2. It happened much faster than I was expecting.

So I just need to take a couple days to focus on writing and then get back to page updates.
