In retrospect, I think Zerina should've taken up more panel space in that bottom panel. The idea would've been she was being very forward and leaning into the camera, but I guess I just forgot what I was trying to do and instead came out with something ultimately rather boring but acceptable.

It's hard to come up with something visually dynamic for every page, particularly when you're just fried.

I have to try to show growth in characters while also challenging them, so maybe Loona's learned that communication is important... but she hasn't really learned HOW to communicate well. But at least she's trying.

One of the big concerns I have for this comic is how well I'll be able to sell the relationship between Ares and Sylara.

Primarily, this story is about Sylara, rather than just her romance. That's why I decided to have their relationship already pre-established rather than building up to it like in a regular romance manga/comic.

I love taking these opportunities to show the sheer size difference between Sylara and Ares.

I want to point out that Ares calls Sylara "Lara Lasher." It's an inside joke between them, as Ares had a lisp as a kid and struggled to say "Sylara." He also enjoyed the alliteration and has just been calling her by her full name since they first met. Sylara also knows that Ares is upset if he just calls her by her first name.

I hate drawing that damn desk. The show uses assets, so they simply need to past the design for most shots, but I don't have that luxury. The best I can do is to cover it up as much as I can.

By the way, Loona's makeup is darker now, to be more accurate to her show's design. I forgot to mention it, but the color change happened on page 6. The idea was that during the morning routine, she borrowed some of Millie's mascara to reapply on her eyes.
