The sky rose slowly, lighting up over the jungle, as Jake stared at the distant horizon from his perch atop the immense tree. Tir and Ter weren't with him; they were sleeping with Emma in a cabin. Jake stared at the bloody smear on the ground in horror. He could still feel the sickly sweet taste of blood in his mouth, and he could barely look at the mangled form below the tree.

A small group of Kobolds followed a bull-sized dragon through the jungle. It was starting to go dark, and they were moving at a deliberate, careful pace.

"Are you sure it is fine?" Sam asked for the second time since they had found she had severely injured her left leg. She was riding on Jake, carefully holding onto the soft frills behind his neck.

"Yes, yes! He is fine, big and strong and all that!" Mason, walking behind them, shot in a hushed tone.

Walking at the back of the line following Bolyr through the jungle, Jake looked beside him. Tergin had come with the blue armed Kobold this time, only asking a few general questions. Then when they were about to leave, he had signaled Jake to fall back with him.

As he hung in front of the next portal, Anton steeled his nerves. Whatever it would show him, it couldn't be worse than the previous one, right? He looked inside, vision blurring, and he found himself looking at a light at the end of some tunnel. 

The hell? He could move, so he headed towards the light. Was he going to get reborn? He stepped through a tunnel exit, and a cacophony of shouting and noise caused him to freeze in shock. As his eyes got used to the bright ligh...

Sitting in the entrance of the hideout he only remembered portions of, he saw the demoness lie on a black, leathery bed. Next to it stood one guardian insect, different from the others. Again and Again status update

Just now, I have written the end of Again and Again. I am not yet sure what to do with it now. Although I have finished the first draft, it will need some serious editing. If I get more Patreons, the donations will go to editing all of my books, including Again and Again.

Currently working on

 A quick update. 

I have created a twitter account, @carrarn_writes, where I hope to post updates on new chapter releases.

Until December, all my time is spent writing 'Again and Again' my entry for the NaNoWriMo this year. It should be finished on the first of December with roughly 70.000 words. (A bit more than the goal...)
