This was initially a test to handle collisions between actors with procedural animations in Unreal 5, but I ended up making it a more complete animation.

For the last month I've been toying with turning my model into a full game asset instead of a vessel for things I animate in Blender. The motivation behind it was to make take advantage of the work I put in making animations, use it to build a toolbox I can use for a game project in Unreal Engine further down the road.

Got a pretty big version this time! With a new encounter with Drenth in the Barrens after he escapes the manor.

I hope you enjoy it, I know it's been requested for a long time.

This is also the first version to fully handle language selection at any time!

Just click the new options menu on the sidebar and you can choose between English and Chinese.

The Chinese translation is still a work in progress, so the game will default to English if a page has...

I gotta go back to DoC until the end of the month, so that's as far as the animation's gonna get for now.

Hello! Like I mentioned in the dev notes, I finally had time to animate again.

Here's a WIP of the animation part of this new project; the next steps are to bring this to Unreal Engine and add some fun procedural destruction to the ceiling as he outgrows the room.

Definitely gonna add some fluid simulations for the symbiotes and Som too <3.

Hey everyone!

The first month of Alpha is here, so I've been planning on a roadmap towards beta. I think a lot of the game is somewhat polished, so it's important to document what's a priority and what level of quality I'm looking for with every feature of the game.

So my priority this is to work on the slime encounter. It's been due for a rework for a long time now and I want to see if I can turn it into something that has as much depth the other enemies.

Sorry for the delay, I've been at Anthrocon for the last few days but I'm finally back to work.

This version is gonna be a special one, since I plan to make it our release candidate for Alpha! So for me it represents a full vertical slice of the game. Doesn't have every story and mechanics polished completely, but you can play the game from start to finish.

So, to get there, I'll be writing for the True Corruption ending. It will be the opposite of last month's...
