Dev log 6.5

Hello,

Today an unplanned update.

In the last update, I told you guys about the strange behavior of one of my GPUs. (The 1080Ti.)

It's officially a vegetable now.

I don't exactly know what happened because I was at the other PC at that point (Both PC's are on the same monitor) and I was rendering on PC#1 while working on PC #2.

Chapter 3: Dev log #5

Hello,

This post puts the update on 70% finished.

This time a smaller Dev Log because I spent the last weeks only rendering and learning Blender.

In the last 3 weeks I rendered around 2150 renders for animations and yesterday I finished two "smaller" cinematics.

Dev log #3 also puts the progress bar at 50%.
With the new update schedule, this would mean an update but as most of you know, this is the last big 5000 line update with around 30k words.

This is probably the right time to announce that my new PC arrived. 2 days ago to be exact but I had to set it up first. I did lose some data like some Premiere Pro projects but nothing too major.

A small investment was made.

 

Good day! 

Corona is currently abusing the world and this leads to Nvidia, delaying their new GPU release.   

My planned investment of 4x 3080Ti's + Threadripper 3970x will be delayed. 

Most likely to next year because I have to wait for the custom 3080Ti's.   I need the best cooling I can get and we all saw what happened to the founder 2080Ti editions.

These are going to be the last previews before the release

Hey!

I wanted to update you guys on our progress. We have re-rendered over 780 images now and we still need to do around 200-300 more. (We also added some stuff to Chapter 2.)


If and I mean IF and I don't want to promise anything if everything goes as smooth as it does right now, We might be able to release this month.
